Chapter 80: First Child😭🥀

Recap : Arjun found Vridhi with Shaurya in a hospital at Delhi. Vridhi was admitted in the hospital as she wasn't fully conscious.

Sana scrunched her eyes as the sun rays fell on her eyes. She slowly blinked her eyes waking up and saw herself laying down on an unfamiliar sofa. Only then does she realize that she was in the hospital and the yesterday's happenings came rushing in.

She saw Arjun who was sitting on a chair beside Vridhi's bed while holding her tiny hands tightly. He was keeping his forehead on her tiny palm and sleeping quite uncomfortably. Visible dried tears are found on his cheeks. Sana quickly closed the curtain to let him sleep for a while.

She thought to adjust Arjun's sleeping position as this position will cause him a severe neck cramp. But then decided otherwise as he wouldn't sleep if he woke up now. She messaged Darshan and went towards the washroom to refresh herself.

As Sana exited the washroom, Arjun woke up with a sudden jerk frightening Sana. She looks at him and Vridhi worriedly.

Sana: ennachu ? She whispered questioningly as she doesn't want to wake Vridhi up.

Arjun shook his head as nothing and went towards the washroom to refresh himself. While he was coming out, he saw Vridhi shaking her fingers slightly. He goes near Vridhi and told Sana about her hand movements.

Sana quickly came towards Vridhi and stood beside her as they saw Vridhi's eye balls rolling under her eyelids. After some more rolling, Vridhi slowly opened her eyes blinking. Both of them stood silently, controlling all their emotions as they didn't want to overwhelm Vridhi.

Arjun just passed her a small affectionate smile while Sana bit her lower lip to avoid bursting out crying in relief.

Vridhi: Ap..appa ...

Arjun placed a deep kiss on her forehead after wiping his tears without Vridhi's knowledge. Sana pressed the button near the bed to inform the doctor and then placed a small but deep kiss on her cheeks lovingly.

On sensing her dry throat through her screeching voice, Arjun gave her some water from a bottle. While Vridhi gulped half of the bottle due to her thirst. Arjun and Sana felt a pit in their heart as they can't imagine how thirsty she would have been, to drink this much water. She usually drinks only a few sips of water even after so much of persuasion.

As she finished drinking the water, the nurse and doctor came to check her. As per doctor's request Arjun and Sana were about to exit the ward, but Vridhi quickly sat up holding Arjun's hand not leaving him.

Arjun's heart clenched on seeing Vridhi's scared face. He told her to behave as a good girl for some time and cooperate with the doctor while he waited outside, but Vridhi denied adamantly.

Vridhi: Enakku edhuvum venaam. Neenga thaan Venum. Pogathinga pa. Naa good girl la irukken, chutti lam pannama neenga soldra pecha ketukitu irupen. Neraiya chocy kooda sapda maaten. Ennaiya vittutu engaiyum poidathinga appa. She pleaded with blurred eyes.

Arjun immediately hugged her tightly caressing her head. He kissed her head and tried to coerce her a little.

Arjun: Appa unnaiya vittu engaiyum poga maaten ma. Namma inga irunthu seekirame namma veetuku poidlam. Konja neram doctor soldratha nee keta, aprom namma seekirame vettukku poidlam. Cheri ya ? En thangam la, azhugathinga da. He coerced kissing her cheeks.

Vridhi nodded dejectedly with a sad face. As Vridhi was visibly sad and frightened, the doctor let Arjun stay inside the ward while he did some general check-ups. Sunitha was also there to translate something if needed. The doctor questioned Vridhi how she was feeling now.
