In the KK mansion,

The usually quiet house was being even more silent throughout the breakfast. It's usually filled with a sense of calm and peace but today it was filled with an unbreakable tension.

Pugazh who always tries to break the tension himself is caught in between the tension today. He was afraid that Binni will get up without eating if he speaks something as she has been doing for the past two days so he kept silent not initiating any conversations.

Anitha tried her best to escape from the tension by serving them food even though Binni insisted on her to eat together with them. She denied saying she will eat later after serving them.

Pugazh quickly finishes his breakfast and slips towards his room upstairs. After taking the office bag, he tried to escape silently without getting into an interrogation or more like an argument with his mother, but it seems like the luck wasn't on his side today.

He felt like the little breakfast he had eaten just now will make a sudden appearance when he hears his name in such a calm but sharp tone from Binni. If the calm before the storm has a face it would exactly look like Binni's face right now. After praying to God for things to go smoothly, he went towards Binni.

But who was he kidding. He knows the problem is gonna be blasting into a huge argument right now. He regretted even opening his mouth at all 2 days ago. It was such a small conversation but unfortunately grew into a huge argument due to the years of suppressed feelings.

Not that he regrets any of his harsh words thrown at Anitha but exposing his and Anitha's current situation to Binni was unwanted. He was worried about giving his mother an inner peek about how they were living as it could cause Binni to worry and could deteriorate her mental health.

Pugazh and Anitha always show a facade of lovey-dovey to everyone in the family. So he was sure that those things he had uttered that day would have been a great shock to Binni.

Binni: naan kobama iruntha nallatha pochunu apdiye vitrathu. Vanthu samathanam paduthanum ngra yosanaiye illai, apdi thaane Pugazh ?

Pugazh kept silent as it's indeed true. He would have kept his silence forever if she hadn't questioned about it. He was actually hoping to let this issue drag for weeks so that Binni can forget eventually but he seems to be forgotten that she was his mother after all.

Binni: illai enakku onnu mattum suthama purila. Neeya thaane aasai pattu avala kattikitta ? Naanga enna unakku pudikatha ponnai pudichu kattaya kalyanama panni vachom ? Aprom enna prechanai ungalukku?

Pugazh: prechanai lam onnum illai ma. Adhu yetho office tension la annaikku kattiten avlo thaan. Matha padi vera onnum illai.

Binni: oh apdingala sari sari. Ethana naala office la prechanai ?
