1st Person
Okay, so maybe I was overreacting a little bit. But so what? Marshmallow meant a lot to me, and everybody knows it. Even if he wasn't a real person, he was still my baby and I loved him as if he was my human child. I know I could make another one any time I want, but I would really rather not considering how easily I got attached to that one.
Bakugo and I stay up really late as we talk things out. We come to a mutual understanding, agreeing that we need to communicate more often, rather than doing things without warning. I smile to myself a little as I forgive my friend, and the two of us go our separate ways for the night.

The next morning, I approach Kirishima with the biggest smile on my face.
"Hey, Kiri!" I call out to my friend.
"Hm? Oh, hey, Mizumi. What's up? Are you and Bakugo cool now?"
"Yeah, we worked it out and everything is okay now." I grin before launching myself at Kirishima to hug him. "Thanks, Ejiro. You're the best!"
Kirishima stumbles backwards, not expecting such affection from his female friend. He smiles and gently hugs me back, not wanting to hurt me with his natural strength. "You're welcome. I'm just happy you guys are friends again."
I pull back and grin up at him. "You're a good friend. Please don't ever change."

Ever since our recent fight, Bakugo has felt responsible for making sure I am safe during training, and has been slightly more protective than usual. He knows I hate the idea of creating another Marshmallow, knowing it will be destroyed. I get attached to my creations very easily, so I have decided not to use Colossus unless I absolutely need to.

One day after training, I sit with Midoriya as we drink some water and catch our breaths. Bakugo gets annoyed as he tries to get my attention, but I am distracted as I am deep in conversation with my friend.
Bakugo grabs my arm to pull me away, but lets go of me immediately when I whimper in pain. He didn't grip me very hard, so he knows something is wrong.
"Show me your arm," he demands.
I quickly hide my hand behind my back, suddenly grateful that the winter version of my hero costume has long sleeves. Bakugo glares at me and yanks my arm out from behind me, rolling my sleeve up to expose the burn marks that cover my arm. I sheepishly offer him the other arm as well, letting Midoriya be the one to reveal those burns too, and both boys look concerned at the freshness of the burns.
"What happened?" Midoriya asks, alarmed and concerned for my well-being.
"Who did this to you?" Bakugo growls, looking like he's ready to kill someone for hurting me.
My eyes wander across the room to Todoroki, then back down at my feet in shame.
"Icy Hot did this?" Bakugo demands.
"He didn't do it on purpose. We were training together a couple of days ago and there was an accident. He doesn't even know that he hurt me..." I explain quietly. Truthfully, this happened during the Marshmallow incident when Todoroki attacked me to get me to use my new ability. I haven't taken my injuries to Recovery Girl, wanting to keep the damage as a reminder of how much I still need to improve.
"I'll kill that half-and-half bastard for hurting you," Bakugo growls.
"Icy Hot! Get your ass over here!" Bakugo yells as he marches toward Todoroki with murderous intent.
"Kacchan, don't!" I protest, throwing myself at my friend in a useless attempt to stop him from hurting my other friend.
Midoriya also attempts to stop Bakugo as the explosive blond loses his temper, yelling at a totally clueless Todoroki.

"Hey, are you okay?" Todoroki asks as we leave the nurse's office. After Bakugo attacked him, the two of them fought each other until the teachers had to pull them apart and they both had to be taken to get their injuries healed.
Those two can be so intense sometimes.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say honestly.
"What was that about anyway? Do you know what set Bakugo off like that?"
I sigh, not wanting to make Todoroki feel bad. Bakugo had yelled at him for hurting me, and he still doesn't understand? "Didn't you hear what Kacchan was yelling at you about?"
Todoroki is quiet for a moment while he tries to remember the words Bakugo yelled at him mid-battle. "He said I hurt you. That's not true, is it? We haven't trained together in awhile..."
I smile a little and gently pat his shoulder. "Yeah, you did. But it's okay. I'm fine, really. My injuries will heal themselves eventually."
My friend stops in his tracks, looking horrified at the realization that he did actually hurt someone, even if it was an accident. "How exactly did I hurt you?"
I sigh and show him my arms. "Remember when I was struggling to make the ice monster, and you had to scare the crap out of me in order to make it work? That's when this happened."
His eyes go wide as he stares at the dark burns he made on my pale skin. "Mizumi, I'm so sorry! I didn't know I hurt you, so why didn't you tell me?"
I smile at him, secretly appreciating how deeply he cares about his friends. "I didn't want to make you feel bad. If it makes you feel any better, I'm not upset at you at all. That was just part of training."
Todoroki seems to calm down as I reassure him, ironically making me remember how much I beat myself up when Marshmallow had hurt him and he had been the one to comfort me, reassuring me that he wasn't mad at me.
I am so grateful for my friends.
