I loud ring of my phone alarm wakes me up. I groan and slowly sit up. I go to call Justin, like I always do when I wake up, but stop myself. I have to tell him at some point but I don't really feel like dealing with the raft that I'm going to get yet. I already have enough to deal with today and I defiantly don't need another thing on my plate.

I quickly put my show clothes from yesterday back on. If I knew I would be showing today I would've brought another pair, but this will do. It's not like anyone is going to notice. I leave the collar of my show shirt undone and the sleeves rolled up.

I set off to the our tent stalls when I get to the show grounds. I get to the middle of the aisle way when I realize that I have no clue of anything. I don't know what horse I'm riding, what class I'm riding in, or even where this horse is. I set off to look for Brandon, hopefully he'll know.

"Hey, have you seen Brandon?" I ask Javier when I see him walk into the aisle.

"Just left to warm up his horse for the Grand Prix"

"Okay, Thank you." I say and find my way to the warm up arena.

Sure enough Brandon is riding his bay Warmblood, Casino around. I walk towards the rail and watch how effortless Brandon makes it look. I've seen Casino go only a handful of times, usually because I'm busy with Aspen or Brandon's busy, which almost always.

Casino is Brandons' personal horse. Nobody else is allowed on him, period. He has another horse, Goose, but you can tell he's not as protective over him as he is of Casino. I would be too, if Casino was my horse. He's young and already really talented.

Brandon spots me and slows Casino to a walk and stops right in front of me. "If you want, you can wait until I'm done with my classes and then I'll show you to Casper."

Perfect. I nod my head and Brandon is right back to work. Casper, I think to myself. I sigh, "It's probably a grey." I mumble to myself. I'm a sucker for greys, especially when they have dark dapples.

The Grand Prix went off at six. It's not as big of a deal as last nights Grand Prix because it doesn't have a big prize money and there isn't a lot of people entered. Which is smart on Brandon's choice. He wants Casino to get experience on an actual Grand Prix course without showing Casino off too much.

Brandon was up fifth and had a rail down, eliminating him from the jump off. But when I saw him he didn't look upset, happy rather. "Not bad for his second time." He smiles and walks him back to the tent stalls. I follow him and hold Casino as Brandon untacks him. Brandon's groom comes in and takes Casino from me.

Just then Lucas strides in at the other end of the aisle. I panic. "Let's go see that horse." Brandon says coming out of the tack room.

"Please" I say a little too quickly and basically speed walk out of the tent.

I was right.

Casper is a grey. And of course he's the grey I love. Dark dapples all over his body and star dapples on his legs. Not only that, he has one front right sock. You usually can't see them on greys but he's such a dark grey it shows perfectly. Also, he has a stripe going down his head, gleaming white.

I walk over to him and stroke his face. He has perfect conformation and is most definitely a warmblood. I stand next to him and laugh to myself. This horse is giant. I'm 5'6'' and this horses' withers are towering over me. "He's 17/2 hands." Jackie's voice surprises me. "And only five years old."

"That's insane" I say leaving his stall. I probably should've asked her if I could go in there in the first place but I couldn't help myself.

"Your showing in the level 4's in two hours. I will have a groom get him ready for you."
