Justin's POV:
She jumps over a wide neutral oxer, her shadbelly's jackets' tail flying behind her like a cape. Her face reads pure concentration as she whoas her shining black mount to meet the perfect distance.
I smile as I watch her round. She's come so far. She moved out of her moms house and bought a house in the Netherlands overseas three years ago. On her property is a dream barn that any equestrian would dream of having. She has 20 stalls and three Grand Prix size arenas.
I've got to admit it she invested her money well. She owns her own business of training horses and she even buys green horses and resells them. She could loose all of her business right now and she would still be able to own her 8 acres of property and show around the world. And she's only 21 years old.
She has some boarders there as well. Not a lot of people but enough to make the place more homy.
I guess it's like a co partner business that me and her have even though she does all the work. I'm the manager of the barn. I make sure all the horses have food and the boarders are paying their bills. I don't mind it, actually I kind of like it because I like keeping everything organized. I'm just happy that I spend everyday with her especially since we live together.
For the past five years she's been all around the world. She bought Casper and showed him in Paris and Miami beach for the Longines global tour.
And now she's at the Hunter Spectacular riding her beloved horse that she basically raised herself- Zara.
Zara is one of the youngest horses to show here and as I glance at the scoreboard I see that she's already in the top three and she's only halfway done with her course.
I look at Lucas who is standing by the gate, basically jumping over the gate like he's riding for her. He boards Harvard at her barn in the Netherlands but he boards there for free- something about a deal or something they had a couple years back.
He moved there as well but only a year or two ago when he decided to study abroad for Medical school.
Gina performs her closing circle white a shining white smile.
God I love that smile.
I've noticed a lot of things about her in these past couple of years. One thing is that after every single round no matter how good or bad, she always walks out of the ring with a smile on he face and petting her mount.
She looks at the scoreboard and my jaw drops to the floor. She got a perfect score, how is that even possible? "Beat that" she says playfully as she passes me.
I laugh. That's the funny thing about that. I can't.
My name gets called and I trot Harry into the the arena.
