Justin's arms are wrapped loosely around me but that didn't stop me from getting as close as I possibly could to him. His breaths are even and his lips are parted a tad. I've never really seen him sleep. Once maybe but he had an ice pack covering half of his face so I didn't really pay attention. But now I notice that he looks younger with his eyes closed. I guess everyone does but it's more than that. He's relaxed.
When he's awake he's so nervous around me. Not that anyone would notice but I know him front and back and I know that he's not completely comfortable around me despite his protests saying that he is. He's afraid. He's so scared of making one wrong move where I'm going to back out again. He's terrified yet every single time he completely lets his guard down around me because he trusts me but deep down I know that he's timid.
I don't want to leave his warmth that encompasses me, luring me back to sleep. But I can't because Lucas has been pounding on the door for the past three minutes yelling "you better have clothes on!".
I moan and roll out of Justin's grasp, opening the door tiredly. Surprisingly Lucas is dressed and ready to go for a change. "Oh good you do have clothes on." He steps into the room and I roll my eyes, "get dressed we have to go."
My arms fold to my chest, "no, you have to go. I don't have to be there until five." I only have the Grand Prix tonight so why am I going to hang out there all day.
"Yeah I'm going and I need my entourage to cheer me on now let's go!" He claps his hands together like a seal, finally waking up Justin who just rolls over, pulling the covers over his head.
"Dude" I point to Justin, "he still does have a concussion you know."
"If he can handle a make out session he can handle a little bit of noise." He pulls his phone out of his pocket, "also, check this out." He hands over his phone and I see a picture of us from yesterday when our courses met on the rail. Lucas's goofy white smile beaming over at me as I laugh. "It's everywhere. Horse Network posted it and everybody's sharing it. I can't scroll two seconds without seeing it."
I smile, Instagram and Facebook famous. "That's cool." I hand his phone back to him, "I'm not leaving with you right now." I add in and Lucas huffs and I sigh, "I'll be there in three hours, let me sleep."
"Fine" he mumbles and leaves the room. I climb back next to Justin, snuggling underneath the covers.
I mentally curse Lucas out because I can't fall back asleep. I get back up and go to the bathroom then make my way towards the mini fridge in the room. Warm hands wrap around me from behind and he kisses my cheek "Morning" his voice raspy.
I smile and turn to him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He looks so confident now but I know that the second that I kiss him he's going to cower.
I do it anyway.
Much like yesterday all his breath is taken from him as I rake my hands through his hair. It's so much longer than it used to be I can't get over it. I push up into my toes to get closer. He picks me up so I wrap my legs around his waist, my back makes contact with the wall and Justin stutters for a second, wondering if it's okay.
I kiss him harder, telling him it is. His head tilts back allowing us a break, both our chests heaving. I take the opportunity to kiss his jawline, working my way down to his neck. His breath comes out in small whines sometimes saying my name weakly. When I kiss the spot on his neck where his collar bone and neck meet his legs buckle, sending us crashing to the floor.
