I dedicate this story to my grandmother who passed away on December 1, 2023.
These past few years, I didn't just suffer from writer's block; I lost someone I love so much. It's been so hard, but I used this platform to forget the pain. And I'm truly grateful to everyone who waited and constantly asked for an update. Please know that I wasn't ignoring you or anything... it was really difficult and I felt discouraged sometimes.
Aside from grieving, I admit that this has been the hardest story I've written yet. I have to be knowledgeable enough when it comes to figure skating to deliver a story that's worth reading. I did a lot of research and watched a lot of videos online to be able to write a realistic performance, not to mention that I had to create whole new routines for Isla. But it pays off 'cause it's finally done! Yay! We did it!
I'm truly satisfied and so proud of this book. I'm thinking of having a physical copy of Capturing The Ice Queen's Heart with special chapters soon. How I wish!
And to my dearest readers, I want to thank you for your endless support. You've been a big part of Isla's journey—you smiled, laughed, got angry, and fell in love. May you all find your own Triton someday.
It's time to get off the rink and return the figure skates. Until then!
