It was a quiet afternoon in the enhypen dorm, and everyone had gathered in the living room.

The tension from their busy schedules was palpable, as the members were all sprawled out on the couches, each catching their breath after a long day of practice and meetings.

Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-Ki all had their own way of unwinding, but today was one of those rare occasions where they were simply existing in the same space, trying to de-stress.

As usual, Sunghoon was on edge. He had a tendency to push his own feelings aside to care for the others, a habit that had formed over the years of being in the group. He always looked out for everyone, and that day, his natural instinct was to keep an eye on Sunoo, who seemed a bit down and quiet.

Sunoo had been dealing with some heavy personal feelings lately, something the others had noticed but didn't fully understand.

It had been a tough week, with back-to-back schedules and not enough rest, so Sunghoon, ever the empathetic soul, decided to keep a subtle eye on him.

He stayed a little closer than usual, offering a smile, sitting beside him, and making sure he had everything he needed. It was a protective instinct that Sunghoon had developed in his own unique way, especially when he entered a little space.

It had been a few months now that Sunghoon had allowed himself to be vulnerable enough to embrace his need for comfort in moments of stress.

The others didn't know that, though. He'd carefully concealed it, pretending to always be the responsible one, the steady force for everyone else. But deep down, Sunghoon's little space was his safe haven when the weight of it all became too much.

"Sunghoon, are you okay?" Jay's voice cut through his thoughts. The older member was giving him a concerned look as he noticed Sunghoon staring at Sunoo in a way that seemed different from his usual caregiver mode.

"Yeah, just... watching over Sunoo," Sunghoon replied with a calm smile, keeping his emotions tightly wrapped. He didn't want to give anything away. Not today.

"Make sure he's good, but don't forget about yourself, okay?" Jay said, his gaze softening. "We all know you like to take care of everyone, but you need to take care of you too."

Sunghoon nodded, forcing a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. He was used to hearing the same thing, but it didn't change anything.

He couldn't help how he felt. The constant pressure to be the perfect leader and caregiver, the one everyone could depend on, weighed heavily on him.

"Okay, I'm fine," Sunghoon reassured Jay, brushing off his concerns. "I'll keep an eye on Sunoo, don't worry."

But in truth, he wasn't fine.

A few hours later, the members were scattered around the living room again, chatting and relaxing after dinner.

Sunghoon's mind had been occupied by his thoughts for a while now, as he watched Sunoo interact with the others. Sunoo, for his part, was trying to stay upbeat, but it was clear he was struggling.
