Hanna's POV

This week has been tiring with class and although drama is taking a break, I still have the jornal to deal with.

But today, we decided to have a chill day. Mainly it was Lucy idea, the girl loves us being all together and just relax even more now that Aiden stoped being a jerk.

We're sprawl out on the grass in the park next to the playground I met Aiden, he must've remembered cause he looked at me when we were getting out of the car.

Lucy is playing cards with Jake and Max while me and Aiden are playing a game in his phone.

"You're awful" he laughs and I can feel his chest vibrating on my back " how can you be so bad? You just killed your teammate"

"It's hard" I say pouting turning me neck to him "but you should be teaching me not insulting me"

"Ok ok" he kisses my neck "so you need to see their names, if it's yellow it's your team if it's red you kill it"

"You're wearing red can I kill you?"

"Then who's gonna save you?" He says as he takes the phone and kills one of the reds "see?"

"I can't. Can't we play something simpler like candy crush or among us?"

"Last time we played among us, Max spent two days without talking to Jake, just because Jake was the killer and took him off the game"

I laugh, and look and Max imagining him mad as hell, probably even texted him a bunch of time.

"Would you kill me?"

"Hell yes " he says " it's a game babe" he slaps my thigh then grabs the watermelon plate and gives me some

I hear a click and looking in front on me I see Max grinning with his phone up

"Send me that" Aiden says, I bet he's gonna change his background photo. He's been using one photo of me laughing at his car but now he got more ammunition.

Like I thought, the moment Max sent him the photo he changes right away. He shows me his screen and I smile "we do look good"

"You do"

"So, Hanna, what about you?" Jake asks, leaning back on his elbows. "What are you thinking about for college?"

I'm confused by the question but Luce must've notice and decides to help me out "we were talking about the future"

I hesitated, biting my lip. I've been avoiding this topic for a reason. "I'm not really sure yet. There are so many options, and I... I just don't know what I want to do."

"You and me then" Max winks at me and Aiden covers my eyes " I won't steal her, relax"

"Like she would give you a chance" Aiden says "you're between writing and acting?"

I nod and eat more watermelon hoping they stop talking about me but I guess that's hopeful thinking.

"You're a really good actress, Hanna. You should totally go for it! Imagine being on stage, or even in films one day. You can't lose the opportunity by being indecisive"

Aiden, who had been quietly listening, suddenly tensed behind me. "Lucy, maybe she doesn't need that kind of pressure right now," he says, his voice sharper than intended.

I feel bad cause I know he said that because of me. He could sense I was nervous.

The air grew thick with awkwardness. Jake shot Aiden a look. "Dude, that was uncalled for. Luce was just trying to help."
