Hanna POV

After Aiden came to my room and I told him what happen he's been all over me. It's like he's afraid I'll break down again.

Everytime my mom calls me he stares at the phone with a murderous aura. And she's been calling a lot.

Dad said she actually showed up once at our house but he sent her away.

He knows I don't wanna talk to her and he's respecting that. Give him an award of best father cause he is.

Today is game day, the boys are already at school and I'm right in front of the mirror in Lucy's bedroom.

Smoothing out the fabric of my shirt with Aiden name on the back.

"He's gonna eat you at the spot" Lucy says while proudly wearing her shirt with Jake's name.

"I can't believe I'm doing this," I say with a laugh, turning slightly to get a better view of Aiden's name. "I feel like a total fangirl."

Lucy grinned. "You look like his girlfriend. The boys are gonna love it."

I chuckle but I can't lie that I like that everyone would see that we're together. I'm gonna show off my boyfriend and I like it.

"You look great, by the way," Lucy says, stepping back to admire both of us. "Aiden's gonna flip when he sees you."

"Thanks, Luce. I would say something about Jake but thanks to you I know that he even asks you to not take the shirt off"

"I told you, it's a turn on. They love it"

"So, how are things with you and Aiden?" Lucy asks as she apply some final touches to her makeup. "Everything okay?"

I hesitate cause I told Lucy I had a fight with my mom and needed time. That's why she helped me run away from Aiden but I didn't told her everything, since it involves Aiden family I didn't want to expose him like that.

"Things are... complicated," I admit , trying to keep the tone light. "There's been a lot going on, but we're okay. We're figuring it out."

Lucy reaches over to squeeze my hand. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right? I'm here for you, no matter what."

Way to make me feel worse... I wish I could tell her but I can't.

"I know," I say, squeezing back. "Thanks, Luce. Love you"

"Anytime, babe. Now, let's go knock those boys off their feet."

After some last touches, we left her house and made our way to the school.

By the time we arrive, the energy of the crowd was already palpable, a mix of anticipation and school spirit that always came with game nights.

I think I was missing out, it's pretty fun come to this things.

As we made their way to our seats, I spot Aiden, Max and Jake warming up on the field.

Now... this sight is doing things to me. The sight of Aiden, his muscles flexing as he's stretching .He looks so focused, so in his element, that I can't help but feel a surge of pride.

"They're gonna kill it tonight," Lucy says confidently, nudging me with her elbow. "Just watch."

"Yeah," I agree without looking at her cause my eyes are glue to Aiden as he jogs over to where we are standing.

When he caught looks at my shirt, his face lights up in a way that made me smile.

"Daisy!" Aiden calls out as he gets closer , his grin widening when he can clearly see his name on my back. "Are you serious right now?"
