Hanna POV

I'm awake in seconds, the sun shining in my room did the trick, I should've close the curtains but I was so tired I just fell asleep.

I stretch and yawn, feeling the remnants of sleep clinging to me. I can't help but smile when I remember I have a boyfriend now, a real boyfriend..

After getting dressed, I head downstairs to find Aiden waiting outside, leaning against his car.

He looks up and smiles when he sees me, I ran to him and wrap my arms around his neck.

"Morning Daisy" he says as he place his hands on my waist

"Morning," I reply, returning his smile. "Can we talk for a second?"

He nods, and we move to sit on the porch steps. I take a deep breath, trying to find the right words.

"I was thinking... maybe we should keep things low-key for a while."

He raises an eyebrow. "Low-key? What do you mean?"

"I just... I want to talk to Ethan first. Let him know where I stand before we make anything public. It wouldn't be fair otherwise. I don't wanna hurt him"

"I don't mind hurting him, I've been waiting to put him in his place"

"Aiden..."

"What? You two have been torturing me for some time now" he scowls

"Please...." I grab his hand and pull it to my lips before giving a soft kiss

Aiden's expression softens, and he nods. "Ok.You want to do things the right way"

"Yeah," I say, relieved that he agreed . "I just don't want to hurt him any more than necessary."

"Okay," he agrees. "But I still want to drive you to school. Deal?"

"Deal," I say, grateful for his support.

At school, Aiden kisses me before going to the boys. I scan the crowd, searching for Ethan. I finally spot him with his friends near the lockers. Taking a deep breath, I make my way over to them.

"Ethan, can I talk to you for a minute?" I ask

His friends start to whistle and clap, clearly misinterpreting the situation. "Oh shit, looks like someone is getting lucky" one of them teases.

Ethan gives them a half-hearted smile before turning back to me. "Sure. Let's talk."

We step away from the group, finding a quieter corner in the hallway. My heart is pounding in my chest, and I can feel the weight of the moment pressing down on me. He's so sweet and I don't wanna hurt him.

"Ethan, I need to be honest with you," I begin. "I really appreciate the time we spent together, and I think you're a great guy. But... I'm not interested in pursuing anything more."

He looks down, his face falling. "Is it because of Aiden?"

I nod, deciding that honesty is the best policy. "Yes, it is. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for things to get complicated."

He takes a deep breath, trying to keep his emotions in check. "I get it. I just... I wish things were different. I really like you"

"I'm really sorry," I say again, feeling the weight of his words.

Without another word, Ethan turns and walks away, leaving me standing there with a heavy heart.

Fuck, I'm feeling horrible, I need my Luce and some food, preferably sweets.
