Aiden POV
Ok. I may be a guy and not really sensitive but I'm pretty sure I'm being ignored.
My beautiful girlfriend hasn't texted me in days, she didn't wait for me to go to school and yesterday the same thing.
I asked Jake and he said Lucy is picking her up and they need girl time but I don't believe it.
I need my Hanna time, even in class she didn't look at me.
So right now I'm at my desk, pouting while looking at my laptop screen.
I should be reading this stupid essay but I'm so far gone I didn't notice I'm just writing Hanna all over it.
I don't remember doing anything, and it's still her " don't disturb me" time. Although I should buy her chocolate since it's next week.
I glance at my phone for what feels like the hundredth time, hoping for a text or a call from her, but the screen remained stubbornly blank.
She's driving me crazy.
With a sigh, I lean back in my chair and dial Jake's number, hoping Lucy told him something.
Jake picks up after a few rings. "Yo, what's up?" he greets, his voice muffle as if he's chewing on something.
"Hey," Aiden reply , trying to sound not so desperate. "Just wanted to hear your voice"
"Dude you had me double check if I wasn't speaking with Max."
"You don't miss me?" I say in a dramatic way, very much like Max would say
"No time for phone sex sorry. That's only for Lucy"
"Ohhh I'm so sad" I laugh "What are you up to?"
"Not much, man. Just chilling and trying to figure out what to get Lucy for Christmas. I'm totally stumped. What about you?"
Aiden rub the temples, I even forgot Christina's is coming up "Fuck. I don't know. I have no idea what to get Hanna. Even more she's been ignoring me. Any ideia on why?"
I did it. I sound like a lost puppy, a miserable lost puppy. I don't mind but I hope he had answers for me.
Jake makes a sound of understanding. "I'm in the dark too. Lucy has been with her that I can tell you but she hasn't said anything to me. And even if she did...."
"You wouldn't tell me?"
"I like my dick. She would cut it off immediately" Jake says chuckling "did you fucked up?"
"Yeah... I have no clue why. It's like she's mad at me for something, but I don't know what I did."
"Did you ask her directly? Maybe something's going on that has nothing to do with you. I remember Luce saying that her relationship with her mom was shit"
I sigh , running a hand through my hair. "Hmmm maybe, but she didn't said anything to me.It's not like her."
Jake is silent for a moment, thinking. "Give her space. Maybe she needs it"
"Maybe," I mutter, though I'm not quite convinced. There is something else, something deeper that she wasn't telling me
We continued talking about Christmas plans, and the conversation gradually shifted to football, like always.
As we are talking about new plays, someone knocks on my door
"Hold on, Jake," I say, covering the phone with my hand. "Come in."
