"How can you support this? It is unnatural; it is disgusting." Otto shouted at Anna, who sat on the couch, clearly bored.

"I would appreciate it if you didn't yell; there is no need for it," Anna replied, standing up to get herself some wine, knowing she would need it to finish the conversation her father started.

"Anna, I need you to take this seriously!"

"I am; there is nothing wrong with it. Alicent and Rhaenyra will both marry Harwin, a damn good knight, a damn good man who is the heir to a wonderful house; it is a great betrothal." Anna explained facing her father again.

"No, it is wrong, Anna. I have seen the looks those two girls share; they are far too close to be considered just friends. I won't allow this!"

"I don't think you have a choice, father." Anna stated calmly, cutting him off, "Alicent, Rhaenyra, and Harwin will marry in the eyes of the new gods and the old; they will have a safe, happy, and loving marriage. I do not give a flying fuck about what you think you will allow and won't allow."

"I am her father."

"And I am her queen," Anna countered.

"She is your queen as well, Otto," Viserys said, alerting both Hightowers of his arrival.

"Your Grace," Otto said quickly, bowing to the Targaryen before standing tall again.

"I apologize for losing my temper and your grace, but I refuse to allow my child to marry a-"

"A what? A princess, the heir to the fucking Iron throne one day queen, a kind person who loves your daughter," Viserys snapped angrily, knowing what he thought about his eldest daughter.

"No of course not- Let me make a few things clear right now firstly Otto, you are bellow myself, my wife, my children, and my brother. Secondly you will not raise your voice to my wife, nor will you speak to her in any manner less than respectfully" Viserys spoke calmly unnerving the traitor and turning on his beautiful wife just as Alicent and Rhaenyra entered the room wanting to get Anna's opinion on wedding plans but froze in the doorway hearing Alicent's name in an angry tone spoken by the king

"And lastly, Alicent is better cared for by Anna than you because Anna and I know that Alicent is an actual person, a young girl of eighteen years, a brilliant, sweet, and kind girl who is still that lady even though she likes both sexes, and she will be treated as the lady she is. The decisions affecting her fate, her life, and her future are up to Anna, the one who actually raised her. Now get out of my chambers."

Anna walked up to Viserys, grabbing his hand, seeing them clenched in fist, wanting nothing more than to punch the fucker in front of him.

"Very well, your grace," Otto gritted out, quickly storming out of the room, glaring at Rhaenyra and Alicent, who moved out of the man's way.

"Alicent Rhaenyra," Anna said, shocked to see both girls standing in their room. It was quiet for a moment before Alicent rushed forward, hugging Viserys tightly, shocking the man who quickly snapped out of it and hugged her back.

"Thank you for defending me," she whispered, making him hum.

"Your family, my dear," was all Viserys whispered, kissing her head as she let go, smiling.

"What did you two need?" Anna asked, looking between both smiling girls with a smile of her own.

"Can we borrow you? We need help." Rhaenyra answered, grabbing Alicent's hand.

"Wedding planning is hard, it seems," Alicent added, making both adults laugh knowing that it was true.

"Yes, it is. Where is Harwin? Is he not helping?" Anna questioned
