Friday, March 22
Alright, it's finally here. The day I've been dreaming about for what feels like years but was actually just three months: the start of spring break. Today was the final day before the school doors lock and the teachers vanish like they've been planning their escape route since January.
I'm not going to lie, school has been brutal lately. We've had so much homework that I swear I was developing a permanent dent in my brain from the constant barrage of assignments. Math quizzes, English essays, random pop quizzes in history—you name it, we had it. It's like the teachers decided March was the month to squeeze every last ounce of our mental energy before we could even smell the hint of a break. But not anymore. I'm free, at least for a week, and I'm going to make every second count.
And the best part? I finally get to use the new gaming chair my parents gave me for Christmas and the sleek headset I got for my birthday in January. This chair is like sitting on a cloud made for champions, and the headset? Surround sound so sharp, I could probably hear a mosquito sneezing across the room. I've got plans—big plans that mostly involve marathon gaming sessions and not even thinking about school.
Spring break, I am ready for you. Bring it on.
