Liu Kang was standing over the bridge, feeling delusional. He never wanted Kitana to think he was rejecting the arranged marriage. It would break her heart if he did mean it.

He sighed sadly as he looked at the flower. "Oh, Kitana..." He said, "She must think I'm such a fool. This day couldn't get any worse."

"Hear ye! Hear ye! Rehearsal in ruins as Liu Kang causes chaos! Fishy fiancé could be canned!"

He then stormed off. Liu Kang found himself in the forest while practicing his vows after running away from the wedding rehearsal.

"It really shouldn't be all that difficult. It's just a few simple vows." And so he kept trying again with his vows within a minute until he got it right. Thanks to the flower who gave him to remember.

"With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine." Then Liu Kang made his move, saying, "Ah, Lady Sindel, you look ravishing this evening. What's that, Shao Kahn? Call you 'Dad'? If you insist, sir."

He continued the vows, "With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine."

Just when Liu Kang slid the ring through the tiny root, it turned out to be someone's hand. When he noticed something was wrong, he looked at the crows watching him. It was then someone grabbed his arm and tried to drag him to the underground.

Liu Kang immediately pulled himself as he accidentally ripped an arm. When he looked at an arm, it started to move by gripping tighter.

He screamed as he shook the arm off of him. Then the mystery rose from the grave, revealing to be the Corpse Bride.

The young beauty with golden hair removed the veil with affection in her sapphire eyes. She whispered, saying, "I do."
