It had been a rare, relaxing afternoon at the Chelsea training ground. The team was gathered in the lounge, sprawled out on bean bags and couches, enjoying some much-needed downtime after a gruelling morning session. The laughter was already flowing as the squad caught up on TikToks and funny clips, but you, being the agent of chaos you were, decided to raise the stakes.
You pulled out your phone and grinned mischievously.
"Right, has everyone seen this yet?" you asked, holding up the screen to show the latest upload from the club's TikTok account.
Millie glanced up from where she was lying on the carpet. "What is it this time, Y/N?"
"Pronunciation video," you said with a smirk.
A ripple of excitement went through the room. If there was one thing the team loved, it was finding new ways to tease each other, and nothing screamed "team bonding" like some good-natured mockery.
You tapped play, and the room fell silent as the video started. The players appeared one by one, saying their names with varying degrees of accuracy and flair. Some got a round of applause; others earned dramatic "boooos" or exaggerated clapping.
Then it happened. Aggie Beever-Jones popped up on the screen, her usual confident smile lighting up the video. She leaned into the camera slightly, a twinkle in her eye, and said:
"Agg-eee Bee-verr Jones-uh!"For a moment, there was stunned silence in the lounge. Then, chaos.
The room erupted into laughter, and you could barely breathe as you collapsed back into the couch.
"Aggie Bee-verr Jones-uh!" you mimicked, your voice going up an octave, your tone overly theatrical.
Aggie, sitting in the corner, buried her face in her hands, her cheeks red. "Oh, come on, it wasn't that bad!"
"Mate, it was worse!" Erin cackled, clutching her stomach.
"No way you said the 'uh' at the end," Guro added, wiping away tears of laughter.
From that moment, it became a team-wide obsession. Every time someone passed Aggie in the hall, they'd do the same ridiculous impression. "Agg-eee Bee-verr Jones-uh!" echoed in the cafeteria, the weight room, even during passing drills.
But you? You took it to the next level.
Every time you saw her, you made it your mission to perform the most dramatic rendition possible. Whether it was on the pitch, in the locker room, or during team meetings, you would suddenly pop up with an exaggerated, singsong, "Agg-eee Bee-verr Jones-uh!"
Aggie would groan and throw something at you—a water bottle, a towel, whatever she could find. But she never stopped laughing.
One afternoon, you caught her in the physio room. She didn't see you coming until it was too late.
"Y/N, don't you—"
"Agg-eee Bee-verr Jones-uh!"
"Right, that's it!" She sprang up, chasing you down the corridor as you screamed with laughter. The entire team peeked out of the lounge to watch, cheering her on.
By the end of the week, the entire training ground was in on the joke. Even the staff started doing it. And Aggie, bless her, took it all in stride—though you noticed she started practising how she said her name when she thought no one was listening.
It wasn't until the end of the week, after a solid win on the pitch, that Aggie finally got her revenge. As you walked past her in the locker room, she grinned and said, "Good job today, Y/N. Or should I say... Y/NN-NN Y/L/NNNNNN?"
The room erupted in laughter once more, and you couldn't even be mad. This was Chelsea, after all.
Nothing but love, banter, and a whole lot of Agg-eee Bee-verr Jones-uh.

Hi all,
I'm running out of ideas so if you have any ideas for what you want to see in this oneshot book then comment on this oneshot. It can be partnering one of the players with another players sibling or a male reader.
Also I have just released a sneak peak of my two new books coming out next week called Breaking Hearts: A Maidstone Heartbreak and WSL Love Island. So after this oneshot if you haven't already go and read them.
Many Thanks,
A/N
