"Toothless!" I call for the hundredth time as I walk through the colorful dragons. Hiccups leading the way through the mass amounts of baby dragons running around with no care in the world for their own safety. Mock made the mistake of growling at them and almost got into a fight with a group of mothers which made me laugh and earned me puff of smoke to the face. He's now currently resides on top of one of the cliff faces that's too high for the tiny dragons to climb up.
"I'm sorry Hiccup but I don't think he's here, this seems to me mostly mothers and babies. I haven't seen many male dragons especially not young ones like Toothless," I put a comforting hand into the teens shoulder before growing embarrassed and removing it. He doesn't seem to notice and just shrugs off my sentiment.
"Hookfang!" He yells and I look to him confused. "No we're talking about toothless, your dragon?" He points to the far side of the on-look we're standing at down into a small rocky crater where a ring of dragons are. "Stormfly?" I call out shocked and exited to see her. She screeches out smiling up at me and I then notice the gaggle of babies playing at her tail with one another. "My dad is going to kill us," I murmur to myself as Hiccup rushes down towards our friend's dragons.
He hugs Hookfangs long face first before moving onto Stormfly as I still stand gawking at them all. "We found them! We found everyone's dragons!" The smile slowly returns to my face when I realized how incredible this is. "Mock!" I call looking over my shoulder to where my grumpy dragon is sulking. "Come see the babies?" I ask hoping since my tone isn't authoritative then he'll comply.
I look back into the large impression and see Hiccup freaking out over all the dragon babies which makes me smile. "Stop being a cry baby and come see!" I yell towards my purple dragon who finally begrudgingly stands off of the steam vent he was laying on. "There we go old man, come on," I tease as he flys over and land next to me. "You're going to be an uncle," I giggle as I nod towards all of the mini Deadly-nadders. This makes him huff out steam through his nose with an eye roll.
"Wait, that makes sense," Hiccup says standing to look up at me. "That he's an uncle?" I scrunch my nose up confused as I cross my arms. "No, he's so old he can't have kids," the brunette explains and I shake my head still not understanding. "He doesn't have a reason to come here to have any babies because he can't have any. All your jokes about him being old aren't jokes, I think he's actually an old man," my jaw drops and I look towards Mock who's wearing an expression that screams, the peg leg is right.
"That explains why you're so grumpy," I mumble to the large purple beast who bumps into my shoulder makes me fall. He lets out a deep grumbly laugh which in turn makes Hiccup laugh. "We should probably get back to Berk? Let everybody know their dragons are fine and will come back once they're ready?" I nod as I dust the dirt off of my butt while glaring towards my old man of a dragon. "Yeah, ready to go grandpa?" I ask earning a threatening look as he bends down for more easy access.
I hop on first and lend a hand for Hiccup to sit behind me, which he complies too. Hiccups hands find a comfortable spot on my waste and I feel a shiver run down my spine from the unusual contact. I don't get touched very often and it usually is in a threatening I'm going to kill too way, not a simple innocent I'm just riding behind you kind of way. It doesn't seem to faze Hiccup who slightly tightens his grip as Mock takes off.
"We'll see you back on Berk when you're good and ready, okay gang?" I give Mock a slight pat to let him know we're ready, but then Stormfly begins to take off and Mock stops with a questioning growl. Others soon follow her lead and Hiccup is quick to reply, "No, uh no no, no!" He yells over the wind, but it's too late, most of all the dragons are up in the air hovering with us. "I think I just started the mega return migration," he sighs while letting me do to lean back and look around. "I guess we're all going, like a family bonding experience for all these new babies," I joke but he doesn't laugh instead runs a hand through his hair. "...Yeah."
The babies all compile towards one of the cliff edges and start jumping off to try and fly. Their efforts fall flat as the wind pushes them right back towards the rocky edge. "Oh Loki," I sigh out knowing this is going to take a lot longer than expected. "This is never going to work." I turns round in my seat to face Hiccup, "You think?" I know sarcasm probably isn't a good fit for the moment, but sometimes I can't help myself. I get ignored once again by Hiccup, which seems to have become a reacting event. "What about the ship you almost hit earlier?" I remind him on the shipwrecked Viking boat that was in the fog. "Could that work?" He seems shocked that I contributed more than enjoy sarcasm for once and his eye slight up with excitement making me frown.

The flight is a very slow one with having to check and make sure no baby dragons escape. Hiccup takes over flying Mock as I sit in the ship, far away from the jagged hole, with all the babies to make sure we don't loose any. Hiccup yells something down that faintly sounds like Berk and from how exited all the dragons seem to be I'm pretty sure we've reached home. "I'm not sure where you all will live but I know you'll be well loved," I promise the baby Gronkles I'm holding. No matter how ugly they get when they grow up they sure are cute now as little round balls of energy.
The sudden impact onto the grounds of Berk cause me to fly forward hitting an old barrel. Luckily I land on no baby dragons but enough land on me that I know I'm going to have some major bruising later. "Really nice and easy landing," I mock Hiccups orders from before we left for how the trip was going to go.
Just as I managed to stand I get pelted with dozens of slimy ropes we found in the hull of the ship. I do my best to cover my head but I still get hit. "Gods!" I groan as I follow the baby dragon towards the hole. The villagers gawk at the sight of the tiny dragons which makes me smile. I walk forward just as Mock lands with Hiccup. He looks at me with fearful eyes and I simply bump into him making him sigh out relieved. "Easy care free journey my ass."
I roll my eyes as Astrid runs up to me. "You did it!" She hugs me and it takes me a minute, but I let my arms wrap around her. "Stormfly has five babies," I update her which causes her to pull away shocked. "Five! We have five babies!" Her face lights up with so much joy that I can't help but beam back to her. "Thank you," she tights her arms around me once more before moving on to talk to Hiccup.
I look around and everyrhing feels so much lighter and happier than before, even when we did have dragons and were celebrating. All the other teens have he as theories reunions with the dragons and new babies which keeps the smile on my face long after it normally would be. I hear Stoick loud authoritative voice and watch him hug his smaller son. "Everyone! Grab your dragons, to the great hall. We finally have something to celebrate!" I watch Hiccup across the square long enough to see him smile fall flat and I know he's missing Toothless. "Let's go Mock, we have one more thing to do."
