Chapter 7

Farrah

He deserves it after all.

“I have some things to do, Farrah.” He reasoned out.

My tears can’t stop falling. I punched his chest.

“Ang iyakin mo naman, babygirl.” He tried wiping my tears.

“Bakit ang tagal mong nawala?” Sa halip na sumagot, ngumiti lamang ito sa akin and then he pulled me into a hug.

“There are things that are too complicated to explain, ayaw kong madamay kayo sa mga nangyayari sa akin.” He whispered while still embracing me.

I immediately messaged our friends and told them that I already saw Ybrahim and he was just doing fine. After informing them, I turned off my phone because I know that I’ll be flooded with questions as I updated them about my recent encounter with him.

“Kailan ka pa rito?” Ybrahim asked.

“I arrived yesterday.” I told him. “Bakit nga pala dito mo napiling mag-stay?” I asked him.

“My family owns the island nearby, it’s free and unoccupied.” He said.

“Ang yaman niyo ah, Adamson-Voire nga naman.”

He chuckled.

God, those dimples are fascinating.

“Inaantok ka?” He suddenly asked.

“Medyo, ginising mo ‘ko eh.”

“Tulog ka muna, ipaghahanda kita ng dinner. Gisingin na lang kita kapag kakain na.” He smiled at me.

“Nakakahiya naman sa‘yo.” I joked at him.

“Pambawi lang sa biglaang ghosting phase, Farrah.”

I didn’t argue anymore. I went to bed and slept without the worry of Ybrahim being in danger anymore.

---

He said.

“Maliligo ako, Ybrahim.” He went quiet after what I said.

“Ybrahim.” I called him.

“Yes?”
