LIFE WAS GOOD FOR HYOMA

LIFE WAS GOOD FOR HYOMA. he came back from college, watched some telenovelas with his mom, and now he was lying down in bed. his curtains were wide open and the sun was shining softly on his face, making him even sleepier.

"hyoma! i'm going to buy some bread." his mother called out from the front door as she was putting on her shoes.

"m'kay." he answered, snuggling further into his bed. his lashes fluttered softly as he was preparing himself to take an afternoon nap.

"hyoma! i said that i'm going out!" her voice could be heard once more, making him sigh out.
"okay, mom." he answered again, louder this time.

"hyoma?? you can at least answer me, you moody boy."
"OKAY, MOM."

"what are you yelling for? the audacity of the youngins these days. i've carried you in my stomach for 9 months, and let me tell you, your big head didn't make it easier." she rambled angrily, irritating her son as well.

he rolled his eyes when he heard the front door slamming downstairs, and he finally allowed himself to relax when the engines of their family car sounded like they were getting further and further away.

however, his inner peace didn't last long. turns out that an exceptionally loud car was passing by his house. the engines of that car were growling like a beast, and chigiri could tell without even peeking that the car was older than himself.

the tires were screeching, which was a pretty good indicator that the driver wasn't particularly skilled. hyoma sighed for what seemed to be like the millionth time in the span of an hour, before deciding that the ruckus was probably not worth the attention—

"CHI?? WHERE ARE YOU?"

oh, he was hallucinating too apparently. he spent so much time with his sister's crazy friend that he thought that she was standing right outside his house, screaming her head off about where he—or rather his sister— was instead of knocking at the door.

"aw, there you are! hi 'sami!! had a good nap?" you grinned as you banged on the window of his bedroom.

"WHAT THE HELL??" chigiri yelled, jumping out of his bed.

you paid your best friend no mind as you opened the window and climbed inside in your stilettos. "whew! that was a good workout." you smiled sheepishly as you rubbed your nape. "i hope your brother won't mind that i entered his room without permission, so you better pass him the message that i'm sorry."
