847 words: Sorry it's been a while, lol. I've been busy with school and haven't been able to post recently but I FINALLY finished something today, I hope you enjoy. There will probably be part two because it feels like I can add to this story specifically.

PART TWO IS UP!

---

The machine's beeping echoes on and on and on and on, making it impossible for silence to stay put for longer than a couple of seconds. The padded walls, metal doors, rough concrete floors, and ceilings trapping all the sound in the room, well.. the sound and other things- god this was truly a prison.

I can feel my blood trying to rip out of my skin, flowing so fast and constantly, making it hard to tell how much had really left so far. How long have I even been here..? It feels like days, maybe hours- but still. The so called ProHero's should be here by now, to come to save me, to relieve me of this hell hole of a 'hospital' I've been kidnapped and forced into. I bet they're busy signing autographs or something stupid like that- I don't get what Sapphire sees in them, they're obviously just in it for the money and fame. And yet he's so damn smart, couldn't have used his scientific shit for a different cause? One that doesn't I don't know, Test On Children? Nah, he's not smart enough to be a normal fucking father....

I wonder how long he's been planning this little motion anyway. Probably months knowing that psychopath- I bet the second he got his happy ass out of prison he was thinking about it. Maybe even sooner than that.. Whatever, doesn't matter anymore, what matters is that Yuuto is safe, alive, and doing well without his quirk so far with Sapphire's help. All I need to focus on is to get out of this stupid bed, get these damn needles out of me, and get the fuck away from this place-

"Good morning, Kiyo." A cheerful voice echoes as the heavy metal door slams shut, the weight slightly vibrating through the walls. How did I miss the door opening..? "Seems like you're doing well. Maybe a tad too awake though, might need to up the dosage of the anesthetics next time, hm?" His sadistic grin highlighted in the blindingly bright room. Gods, I feel awful. Undergoing my body churning, trying but failing to run from the imposing man. The metal cuffs around my wrists and ankles along with the medication keeping me from moving more than an inch out of the hospital bed I'm stuck in. Preventing any kind of escape, even just the thought of it..

I feel like I've been here for ages. Moved from one room to the next just to get poked and prodded then placed back in the white room of insanity to do it all over again the next day- Not one person has managed to find me yet, not any hero, or cop, or even 'friend.' Maybe they stopped looking after a while, gave up and vowed to forget all about me. Sapphire wouldn't give up though, she never knows when to quit. Days will keep increasing and so will my time here.

I bring my hands up to rub my face, soothing the growing exhaustion I've displayed along with slightly brushing against the bandage over my purple and blue eye, causing slight discomfort around the area. That asshole didn't even let me keep my jacket, instead taking everything from me that remotely reminded me of the outside world and instead giving me a white t-shirt and some white shorts to go with this white ass room-

...

Multiple different shoes touching the flooring can be heard from inside the moderately padded walls. Seemingly different weights due the the sounds of the shoes being softer and louder. I don't think he recruited any other scientists.. I've never heard them speaking before if so- "Kiyo!?" Sapphire? she's here, wait, She's Here- I get up from my spot in the corner, stumbling over to the locked door as my body recovers from the amount of sedatives I've endured recently. "Sapphire?" My voice comes out scratchy, almost quiet in a way. I knock on the metal door instead, hoping to get her attention in another way, since I'm unable to use my quirk or apparently yell either. I hear her shoes squeak as she turns before gradually getting closer until she's right up against the door.

The metal lock clicks and swings open and for the first time in god who knows how long, I see my best friend. She looks tired, darkish eye bags showing against her skin, her soft yellow hoodie covering most of her figure other than a few spots where she tore through it. I watch tears begin to well up in the corner of her eyes before her quirk activates and I get pulled into a tight but comforting hug. "Never leave me again-" I hear her mumble before pulling away and unlatching the quirk suppressor from my upper arm. "Wait- he cut your hair!" She groans, becoming even more annoyed. "It's fine, let's just go. Please." I hum before getting escorted out of the room along with Sapphire by some heroes who had joined the break out mission. They aren't too bad I suppose..
