on cheating and burning wood

it never faded
with every bit of my conscious sunrise,
every bit of twinkle,
i see in your lying eyes,

i remember it all too well,
i think i've seen this film before,
i never liked the ending,
all lies and betrayals in its core,

you tell me you love me,
but which one of us?
the one you loved first
or the one you did for lust?

how could you hold her body
like how you gently held my hand,
does the sight of her nakedness excite you,
like when we made all our plans?

i should've ran the opposite direction
as soon as i found out,
but i was stupid to give out chances,
as lies kept spilling from your mouth,

this time i'm saying goodbye,
and this exit is for good,
i'll let you put out the fire you started,
as you frantically handle all the burning wood.
