cursed colors, catching change

as tears misted in my eyes,
i took a breath in,
shaky breath and hands,
as the lights go dim,
has the world been heavy on your shoulders,
has the world been asking too much?
has it been difficult to move your body,
are your little stars been difficult to catch?
my breathe shakes
as the guilt seeps in,
i fought the tears that shouldn't be here,
it ended up dribbling down my chin,
fresh tears rolled down my cheeks,
as i took a step back from you,
i look up as tears keep falling down,
that's when i noticed, my world has turned to a different hue.
has it always been this color,
has it always been so gray?
pure black and pure white
dancing on two platforms, never going to stay?
you love me, then you don't,
i wish for a change,
give me a splash of color,
that's not focused on pain,
world going on an endless spin,
as i ask for a sign
is this the curse i received?
to always say it's fine?
