With Hyeon no longer in power, the Moonlight Pack began the long journey of rebuilding. The council gathered together to name a new leader, and Elder Sang reassured Namjoon that justice would be carried out.

The group was in their quarters, and the tension was finally released.

"We did it," Hoseok said, a tired but satisfied smile on his face.

"Barely," Yoongi muttered, though his smirk betrayed his pride.

Jungkook leaned back against the wall. "Hyeon's last words bother me, though. 'You're blind to what's coming.' What did he mean?"

Namjoon's expression darkened. "The Ironfang Pack. If they were working with Hyeon, they might not take this lightly."

Jimin nodded. "We've dealt with one threat, but there could be more."

Taehyung grinned. "Let them come. We'll handle it."

Namjoon chuckled, but his mind was already overrunning with possibilities. The battle for justice was won, but the war for peace was far from over.

For now, though, they allowed themselves a moment to breathe. The truth had prevailed, and the Moonlight Pack had a chance to heal. Whatever came next, they would face it together.

The trip home proved rather quiet. Exhaustion mellowed the group tone but remained spiced with a sense of completeness. They had unraveled everything and taken down a much-deadlier monster, but it didn't feel like they had cut into open air.

The trees became a lesser number, and their base came into view. Finally. Namjoon exhaled very loudly. "We are back." His voice had a low velvet which comes out rarely.

Jin and YN were waiting for them near the entrance. Jin's arms were crossed, his brow furrowed in a mix of relief and curiosity. YN stood beside him, her expression unreadable but her posture tense.

"You're back," Jin said as they approached, his tone calm but firm. "And in one piece. That's a good start."

"We've got a lot to tell you," Namjoon said.

Jin's eyes narrowed slightly. "I figured. Come inside."

The group sat in the meeting room, the air thick with anticipation. YN's eyes danced across them, her gut screaming that whatever was to come would change everything.

Jin leaned back in his chair, arms folded. "All right. Start from the beginning."

Namjoon then plunged into minute details about everything, from finding the letter to Hyeon falling. The others joined in, filling in whatever was missed, and with each word, YN's expression grew more astonished as his story unfolded, and Jin's face darkened. "Hyeon betrayed his Alpha?" Jin said, cold as stone. "And staged an attack to cover it up?

"Yes," Namjoon said. "He was working with the Ironfang Pack, trying to consolidate power. He used the rogues as scapegoats to deflect suspicion."

"And Alpha Dae Hong suspected him," Yoongi added. "That's why he wrote the letter."

YN finally spoke, her voice sharp. "And the council? What are they doing about this?"

"They've removed Hyeon from power," Namjoon said. "Elder Sang assured us he'll face trial for treason."

But the Ironfang Pack isn't just going to sit back and take this, Hoseok added. Hyeon's alliance with them means they've had a taste of what they want: territory and influence.

Jin ran a hand through his hair, his jaw tightening. So, we've dealt with one enemy, but another is waiting in the wings.

Namjoon nodded grimly. Exactly. We need to be ready.

YN leaned forward, her expression serious. "You're saying the Ironfang Pack could come after us next?"

"It's a possibility," Jimin said. "Hyeon's actions didn't just destabilize his pack. If the Ironfangs were counting on his support, they'd see this as a threat to their plans."

Jin's eyes darkened. "We need to strengthen our defences. Double patrols, fortify the borders, and make sure every wolf in our pack knows what's at stake."

"We also need to make alliances of our own," Taehyung said. "The Moonlight Pack owes us. We can use that to our advantage."

Hoseok nodded. "They're in a vulnerable position right now. If the Ironfangs move against them, they'll need us just as much as we might need them."

YN folded her arms, her voice even yet firm. "We can't just react to this. If the Ironfang Pack is planning something, we need to know what it is before they strike."

Namjoon smiled faintly. "You're right. That is why we need to send scouts out for their movement. Discreetly.

Jin let out a sigh, his shoulders easing a bit. "It sounds like you've thought this out. Good. But don't forget-our pack comes first. We can't afford to spread ourselves too thin."

Namjoon nodded. "We'll be careful."

Rebuilding Bonds
As the meeting ended, the group began to disperse. YN lingered, her thoughts racing. Jungkook noticed and approached her, his expression concerned.

"Hey," he said softly. "You okay?

YN nodded slowly. "I just. it's a lot to take in. Everything you guys went through, and now this new threat. It's hard to know what to feel."

Jungkook gave her a reassuring smile. "You're not alone in this. We've got each other's backs, no matter what."

She smiled faintly. "Thanks, Jungkook.

Nearby, Jin pulled Namjoon aside. "You handled this well," he said, his voice quiet. "But don't let your guard down. The Ironfang Pack isn't like Hyeon. They're organized, and they're ruthless."

Namjoon met Jin's gaze steadily. "I know. But we've faced worse. We'll be ready."

Jin nodded, his expression softening. "Good. Because this pack needs leaders who can stand strong, no matter what's coming."

With the night well and truly underway, all finally congregated in the main hall for a quiet dinner. The weight of their mission weighed heavily, but for the first time in days, there was a sense of calm.

Laughter erupted as Hoseok teased Jimin about his intense focus during their mission, and Taehyung and Jungkook bantered about who had been quieter while sneaking around. Even Yoongi cracked a rare smile as he sipped his tea.

YN watched them, the warm feeling settling in her chest. Despite everything they'd been through—and everything still to come—they were a family. And together, they could face anything.

Jin lifted his glass, his voice soft but firm. "To the truth—and to the strength it takes to protect it."

In a chorus of agreement, the group raised their glasses in unison, the bond stronger than ever.

The battles ahead were inevitable, but tonight, they celebrated the victory they had earned. United, they were unstoppable.
