As time went by, weeks passed since Y/N's change, and the BTS members couldn't help but notice the subtle yet major changes in her behaviour. Her appearance had changed, yes, but her personality - her demeanour, her very essence - had changed.

At first, it was the little things. YN had always been independent, but now it seemed like she was pushing away even the slightest inkling of help. More distant, more determined, and at times more stubborn than they had ever seen her, she would retreat to her room, locking herself in and refusing to see them for hours on end, even when they attempted to check in with her.

Yet at once, her leadership was undeniable. Any time something needed to be decided about the pack, YN took over, her voice sure and unyielding, set in stone. The seeking of their approval to justify herself was very, very minimal now. That blithe, confused girl who joined them so long ago was no longer truly a member. YN, all-powerful in aspect and name: Alpha.

A change the brothers couldn't help but feel.

When night approached, the moon high in the sky, it found the brothers once more assembled together in the great hall, wearied by a whole day of training; thick in the air was the tension, and on such shoulders lay the weight of their cares. They gave YN the space she had sought, but as the days went onward, so much grimmer did she turn in disposition.

Have you noticed how distant she's become?" Hoseok asked, his usually bright mood now shadowed with concern.

Yoongi nodded, having kept quiet until then. "I'm starting to think we made a mistake giving her so much space. The more we step back, the more she pulls away.

Jimin exhaled heavily and ran a hand through his hair. "I've never seen her act like this. She used to be so. approachable, open. Now it's like she's building walls around herself."

Taehyung furrowed his brow, looking in the direction of the door to YN's room. "It's not just that. She's become more. demanding. More stubborn. I don't know how to explain it, but I can feel it. Her authority is overwhelming.

Namjoon stood by the window, his back to the group, a cloud of uncertainty over his eyes. "I've been thinking the same thing. She's not the YN we knew. It's like she's embracing this Alpha role in a way that's pushing us all away."

There was a long silence in the room as each of them digested what had been said. The brothers had watched YN change, and quite frankly, it was obvious to them now that they could not simply continue as they had. They had been so focused on protecting her - on keeping her safe from the chaos of the transformation - that they hadn't considered the consequences of what would happen once she truly stepped into her Alpha role.

Finally, Namjoon spoke again, this time his voice low but resolute. "We need to bring her back. We can't let her become this. independent Alpha."

Yoongi narrowed his eyes as his thoughts raced. "You mean to change her back to an Omega? Are you serious?

Hoseok shook his head, disbelief stark on his features. "She has always had the potential to be a leader, but this. this isn't the YN we have been trying to protect. She is too different now, too commanding. If we do nothing, she will push herself completely away. She won't need us anymore.

Jin, who had been pretty quiet all this while, spoke up with a serious face. "She'll never trust us again if she feels like we're trying to take away her power. But, I see what you mean. She's shutting us out."

Jimin looked over at Namjoon. "You don't mean that, do you? Do you want us to reverse her transformation, and try making her an Omega again?

Namjoon didn't say a word but frustratingly ran his fingers through his hair. "I don't know. But something has got to give. She's already disappearing from us, and unless we do something pretty soon, I'm afraid she might disappear forever. And she cannot rule this pack like that when she is so. detached from us."

The others looked at one another uneasily.

"We don't know what the consequences of forcing the change back might be," Taehyung said softly. "What if it breaks her completely?"

"We can't keep pretending like everything is fine," Yoongi added, his voice sharp. "If we leave it, she'll continue to push us all away. She's already isolating herself, and the more powerful she becomes, the more dangerous that is."

There was a weight in the air, a heavy decision hanging over them. They had fought for YN, protected her from the chaos of becoming an Alpha, and now they seemed to be fighting to protect her from herself.

"What do we do?" Jimin asked, looking at the others in the room.

Namjoon's eyes hardened. "We need to find a way to reverse this. We'll go with the elders, try and find a way to make her go back to how it was. We want our Omega back.".

That night, while the brothers sat gathering their plans, they couldn't but help the feeling of unease growing in them. They had always known YN had it in him to be powerful, but this. this wasn't what they wanted.

YN had always been a part of their world, their family. She had always been the Omega - the centre of their balance and stability. But now, as they plotted to change her back to the way she was, they wondered if they were going to lose her forever.

It was as quiet in the room when the deeper realization set in, causing some fear to seep into the hearts of all: to think that they were just protecting her. Yet, by protecting her, it felt as if they were trying to hold onto her by pushing her further than one would want.

And perhaps she would never again be able to trust them.
