Maloi was just beside her, reading to her two pieces of news.
When she saw the headline, Aiah was already thinking of ways on how to respond but she did not expect that the contents of the post was different from the headlines.
The picture attached to the headline was one taken by the paparazzi in the hotel the night before, making it very clear how Aiah slapped Gelo.
The article started with a photo of a text message from Gelo's handler and or company sent to commercial vloggers and paid trolls giving them instructions on what to include on their 'articles' and telling them to emphasize on Aiah getting physical.
To sum it all up, the whole article was centered around 'Gelo went to the commercial blogs looking for a way to get the spotlight' and in the end, it even spent a third of the article praising Aiah from the top of her head to the tips of her toes, even adding a mention about 'the mystery woman' from last night suspected to be the new boss of the Lim Corporation.
Aiah was confused.
"Scroll down to the comments section below." Maloi told her.
[Gelo Davao Fans Club: Impossible, rubbish media, headline dog!]
[Hahaha this was the plot twist I definitely did not expect!?!]
[Aiah's fans were ready to fight everyone in the comments and ended up liking everything!!! hahaha]
[Is it strange that I'm more interested in this new boss of the Lim Corporation? She seems to be pretty good in a fight.]
This had garnered almost a hundred replies, discussing Mikha. A few were talking about her height, a few about her build , and there were a few waiting for replies to help them find Mikha's photos online.
Aiah clicked on the reply box.
"She already has..."
She had just entered half the sentence when her phone was snatched out of her hand by the person behind her.
Maloi said, "This is confiscated, hurry up and do your make-up."
Aiah complained, saying "Okay, okay, I won't post that but can I please get my phone back at least? I really want to repost that and ask Gelo about how he would explain what he did last night?"
Maloi asked, "Why didn't you tell me this happened yesterday? Why do you keep something this important a secret?!"
"How can I tell you?" Aiah bent towards the mirror, rubbing off the excess lipstick. "You'd probably toss me out of the window the moment I mention anything about slapping Gelo... twice."
"Not exactly." Maloi took the phone and scrolled down the list of hot topics, saying, "Gelo really is done for this time. Never mind the Lim Corporation, his competitions are going crazy putting up articles at the moment. So far they have revealed that when he hosted his parties, he had invited seven female celebrities."
Aiah was in a good mood as she closed her eyes, allowing the make- up artist to put the foundation on.
The first scene was not hers. After she was done with make-up, and continuous reassurances to Maloi about not replying impulsively online, she left the make-up room with her phone.
The make-up rooms were assigned based on how important the actors were. In the whole crew there are only three private make-up rooms, one for each of the primary leads and the remaining one for Aiah. She had just left the room when she saw Daniel return to his, with an grumpy face.
