Maloi was in Babel's PR department working overtime to prepare the strategy about Aiah's request when the PR manager shouted, "Hold up everyone, don't post anything yet!"
Maloi went over with confusion. "What's the problem?"
"Aiah posted an Instagram, take a look."
"...."
Before Maloi could ask, Aiah called. She sounded sluggish.
"You're at the office?"
"Just got here. What's up with your Instagram post, didn't I ask you not to look?" Maloi said.
"Let's not talk about that. Have them go to my comment section and get it going."
Maloi was confused. "What's going on?"
"Didn't you check?" Aiah laughed lightly. "Daniel Ejercito's popularity isn't going down yet."
Maloi understood it at once. "This doesn't bode well for Daisy, does it? We've no evidence that she did this."
"She just sent me a message saying that if I'm willing to help her clarify Daniel's scandal from earlier, she'll help me clarify this one." Aiah found it funny. "You were right, she's getting desperate."
Maloi said, "—She really is something. When she was working with us, we never treated her badly, did we?"
"If she thinks she can threaten us and get away with it, she's dead wrong. Let's do Toni's exposé tomorrow, clean up what you have at the moment and post it during peak hours online." She considered it for a moment before adding, "Whatever happens, make sure it's the trending news."
Maloi turned around and, after finalizing her talk with the PR department, went outside the office.
"Planning all this makes me realize to never be on your bad side. If I offended you before, please forgive me." Maloi teased. "How about Mina, what do you plan to do?"
Aiah went silent for a while. Behind her, Mikha bent over, her lips brushing against Aiah's ear.
"Why are you still up?" Mikha whispered.
Maloi paused and put the phone away from her ear, as if trying to give them privacy even when she's only on the other end of the phone.
"She likes comparing, so let her do that," Aiah said. "There are too many things going on, I don't want the netizens to be too busy."
"On behalf of the netizens, thank you." Maloi answered sarcastically.

Next day.
Mikha woke up early. When she got up, Aiah's phone was lit, an incoming call coming in -an unknown number.
After settling everything with Maloi yesterday night, Aiah had set her phone to silent.
A few seconds later, it stopped flashing. A whole screen filled with unanswered calls came into view, about thirty calls.
She was about to go to the washroom when she noticed some messages on her phone too. It was also a stranger's number, but the sender introduced themselves at least.
[Mikha, this is Mina, Grandpa wants me to invite you to come for a barbecue this weekend, would you please show up?]
