"Do you need me to go print out some posters and put it up around here to save you the energy of having to shout it out here?" Maloi sneered.
Then, she basically dragged Aiah into the room.
Aiah opened her new phone. Messenger, Instagram and the livestream apps were all installed already. Barely two minutes in, and she heard a string of notifications coming through her phone.
She had plenty of friends in the industry, but most were just the kind who liked each other's posts and greeted one another when their paths crossed during work. They never really talked in private, and anything work-related was handled by Maloi.
So, who would send her so many messages?
She stopped in the middle of unpacking, leaning on her bed and took a look at the phone that was still charging.
[Colet: Hey! What are you doing? Do you have time for a chat? ]
[Colet: Why are you not replying either.... ? ]
[Colet: Don't get me wrong, I'm not interested in you that way, I just want to ask you something.]
[Colet: Hey, you went on a trip with Mikha? Can you at least not ignore me?]
Aiah finally replied.
[Goddess Aiah: I'm sorry, I lost my phone, just got a new one. How can I help you?]
Literally, the reply was in seconds.
[Colet: You've lost your phone? How about I give you one, I've a friend who just opened a phone shop in BGC and can help you get the newest model.]
[Goddess Aiah: No need, I already got a replacement, is there anything you need? ]
[Colet: It's actually not that important.]
[Goddess Aiah: Okay, goodbye.]
[Colet: ... no, uhmm there's actually a little something, that... could you please share with me your schedule for the next few months? ]
Aiah quirked her lips and was noticed by Maloi sitting across from her, who then asked, "What got you stressed? Your face looks funny!"
"Someone's asking me for my schedule for the next few months."
"Who," Maloi asked, "Mikha?"
"No, Mikha's friend." Aiah typed away, saying, "I've mentioned her once, Colet Vergara."
Maloi suddenly shouted. "Don't tell her!"
Aiah was still looking down, oblivious to the person beside her. "I know, but what's there to ask? Aren't my fans always posting about my schedule on Instagram anyway? And I'm always at the set...."
[Goddess Aiah: Sorry I can't tell you, my agent will be angry🤐 ]
[Colet: Understandable, your agent is awesome, conscience of the industry, you're too lucky.]
????
She realized that there was probably a trench the size of the pacific between her and Colet; she really couldn't understand her. She was about to close the chat when the other sent something.
[Colet: The room you stayed in is quite good, how many rooms does it have? I asked Mikha just now, she didn't want to tell me.]
[Goddess Aiah: How did you know what type of room we stayed in ...? ]
