Mikha's brows knitted themselves tighter.

Aiah wiped away the tears quickly and, in a normal voice, said, "Give me a moment, I'm not done filming for today."

Mikha promptly refuted. "No."

"The staff has worked hard to set up the scene, let's not waste their efforts." She raised her moist eyes, and said, "We'll go back after this. I promise."

As if on cue, the moment she'd finished speaking, a production staff came over to knock on the door. "Miss Aiah, uh ... Director Jhoanna was asking if you're done with your break?"

After Aiah went out, Mikha was still standing there, narrowing her eyes at the pair on the sofa.

"Tell me what happened."

Sheena shook her head quickly. "I don't know. I was in the make-up room the whole time."

Mikha raised an eyebrow and angrily said, "What's the point of having you around?!"

Huh? Sheena was even more confused.

After the siblings finished greeting each other in the special way they did, Maloi went on to describe all that had happened and exactly as it had happened.

Mikha was silent, and after listening to Maloi's explanation, asked flatly, "Done?"

Maloi had a strange feeling of reporting to a higher-up, she automatically replied. "Yes."

Mikha nodded, then turned around and strode out of the make-up room.

"Why doesn't your sister look mad at all?" Maloi mumbled. "I would've died of anger if that was my boyfriend in her situation."

Sheena was, on the other hand, tsking. "It's been a long while since I saw my sister angry, it's still very scary."

"...."

Mikha walked behind the camera, hands in her pocket, expression calm.

As she stood there she realized that regardless of whether Aiah was sick, or crying, her voice hadn't changed too much. She said her lines smoothly and naturally, her voice charming with an edge; the Terno on her really brought out her beautiful curves.

Remembering the wonderful time she had with the beauty wrapped up in that fabric, Mikha's eyes finally softened a little.

Halfway through, Daniel suddenly stopped.

A few seconds later, he broke into laughter and said, "I'm affected by what happened just now, I don't think I can get into the character. Director Jho, how about we push this filming to next time ... or just delete the scene altogether? It doesn't seem to be a particularly important part."

What a joke! He's already a veteran in this industry, he couldn't just ignore what Aiah did to him just a while ago. He wanted to let Aiah know he could teach her a lesson and cut her parts anytime he wished.

Aiah's mood had already improved by a huge half, so she kept her silence. She took a long mental note to remember to add Daniel on her list of people she held grudges with.

A lady bides her time and waits for the right opportunity to seek vengeance.

At this moment she was ill, and not in the best mindset to deal with Daniel, but that didn't mean that she couldn't in the future. The wheel of fortune turns and reverses. She had always believed in that.
