Pierre looked at the woman in front of him and his expression changed right away. "Aiah, is she your girlfriend?"
Aiah picked the table napkin up and forcefully stayed calm while wiping the corner of her mouth. "Yes."
Pierre's expression turned uglier.
Maloi hurriedly got up and said, "Pierre, see, the corner of your mouth is bleeding. Let's go get that treated. I saw a pharmacy nearby."
Maloi tugged the guy away. Pierre was quite bulky, if he didn't intend to really leave, he wouldn't have been so easily led away by Maloi.
Aiah shifted to the side, making a seat for Mikha. "Why are you here?"
"It was on the way. Did I interrupt your work?" Mikha said lightly.
"No." Aiah explained. "I originally planned to come here with Maloi, but Pierre said he wanted to chat about work so he came along."
"Mmhm, do you have any brands you like?"
This question was so sudden Aiah took a long while to react. "What do you mean?"
"Leave, don't continue with this brand." Mikha said firmly.
"All right." Aiah agreed without a second thought. Holding Mikha's hands, she played with it. "But I don't have any specific brands I like in particular. After I dissolve the contract with them, others would probably come find me, you don't have to worry. Have you eaten?"
"No."
Aiah was about to call the waiter over when Mikha got up and said, "Let's go home."
"But you haven't eaten yet?" Aiah asked.
"Let's eat at home," Mikha said, "I want to eat the noodles you make."
When the two got in the car, Aiah looked sideways at Mikha, still feeling like something was off. From the moment they met in the restaurant up until now, there weren't that many emotions on Mikha's face. Blank, just like when they first met.
Their driver today was a different one, not the one who spoke with a stutter. This driver looked a little older. Since Aiah got on board, he was seated sideways looking at them with a smile.
After the two were seated, he then slowly greeted them. "Miss Aiah."
Aiah smiled and said politely, "Hello. Have you eaten dinner yet?"
"I'll go back and eat soon. Miss Aiah, you are very pretty." The driver stopped looking at her, flooring the accelerator and saying joyously, "No wonder the young boss is willing to wait so long in the car park."
Mikha cut him off with a frown. "Kuya Jomar."
"Ok, ok, where are we going boss?" Kuya Jomar answered while laughing a little.
"Kuya Jomar." Aiah addressed him like Mikha did. "Please bring us to the supermarket, thanks."
Kuya Jomar smiled and said, "No problem, I'll drive you to the best one."
"Thank you." Aiah answered, her hands tightening around Mikha's.
After getting out of the car, Aiah waved at Kuya Jomar through the window and said, "Go back and eat first, we'll take a car later."
After the car drove off, Aiah grabbed Mikha's hand. "Let's go."
"Why are we at the supermarket?"
