August POV

"Nyla what's going on?" I say confused and slightly sad. I heard her conversation outside with Jason because it was on speaker phone. "what are you talking about?" I sigh knowing this isn't going to end right. "I know about your little date tomorrow with Jason." "It's not a date August he just asked me to go with him do that we could talk as friends." I roll my eyes at the fact that she thinks he only wants to be friends with her. I still remember every single word of that snobby ass speech he said on the phone the other day. "no it wasn't he just called me and said good luck Trying to keep her she'll forever be mine. Nyla for one you told him about us and for two I know you still got feelings for him, I mean you just broke up not to long ago you ain't gotta lie." she sighs with tears forming in her eyes. "no I didn't August I haven't told anyone about us I promise you that and I don't still love him." "then how did he figure out about us Nyla and if u don't still love him then why did you agree to go with him even if Starbucks is your favorite place." she just stands there silent as ever. "you know what I knew this wasn't going to work at all. since you still in love with him go be with him, we done." I don't know if I just did that out of anger but it didn't feel right for some reason. I know I didn't mean to say that but I need to let her get over him before she starts with me. when I get to my room I pick up my phone off the dresser and call my ex who I haven't talked to in forever.

Me-hello
Aaliyah- omg I know this isn't August
Me- well think again
Aaliyah- we haven't talked in forever how are you? And everything? I heard you and your sister are soon to be singers, big time ones at that
Me- I'm good and all and we getting up in our career what about you. how's Chicago and that early college life?

Me and Aaliyah broke up 3 years ago mainly because she was starting early college and I couldn't do long distance relationships. her and Nyla were real real real close before she left but that changed after awhile.

Aaliyah- I'm good everything's great but college life is over. I finished school in February and now I'm back in Atlanta.
Me- that's was sup, and I didn't know you was back in Atlanta.
Aaliyah- yah I been here for awhile but what you doing right now maybe we can meet up
Me- alright um meet me at chipotle alright
Aaliyah-okay see you then and tell Nyla I said hey

I hang up putting on some joggers and a hoodie and grabbed my keys while putting on my kd's and walked out the door. when I reach chipotle I see Aaliyah standing there looking sexy as she always did. "hey" "hey". we hug for the longest before walking inside. when we go inside, we talk about what we did after breaking up and flirted here and there. "to be honest with you August after we broke up, I never found anyone else like you." "me either I guess we was just meant to be." I knew I was lying to her but at this point do was Nyla so I might as well enjoy the ride. "do you want to start over liyah?" A huge smile appears across her face. "I'll be glad to." I reach across the table and kiss her passionately. her lips weren't as soft as Nyla's but at this point fuck it they good enough. "come on Aaliyah you going to spend the night." she smirks knowing where going back to old times.

Nyla POV

I hear a knock at the door. I walk to go get it hoping it wasn't August seeing how he left a while ago without saying a thing. I walk to the door and open it revealing Jason. "hey what are you doing here?" He doesn't say a thing. he walks in closes the door behind us and starts kissing me, surprisingly I kiss him back letting me know August was right I am still in love it's him. I pull away and blush a little while he smiles. we walk to my bedroom and sit on my bed. we kiss for about 30 straight with a few touches here and there until I hear noises coming from downstairs. we both get up walking towards the hallway. when we get half way I see August and Aaliyah walking up to his bedroom. me and August just stare at each other. I was wondering how could he move on so fast and August probably the same. I get pulled out of my thoughts from Aaliyah jumping on me,hugging me. I hug back tightly remembering my old OTHER best friend. we talk for a little but until she looks to the side of me and smirks. "this is Jason isn't he, I remember you talking about him before I left.. yall date now?" She asked still with her smirk. "yah for almost 3 years now." Jason says letting me know that he wanted us back. August looked at me shocked by Jason's words."um yeah what about you two, anything new?" I ask Aaliyah not taking my eyes off August. "yah actually we started dating again so I aspect to see my best friend around more." tears firm in my eyes a little but I blink them away. I nod at what she says while August avoids eye contact. "Well me and Jason was about to order some pizza, yall want some?" Aaliyah nods her head yes. "even though I just ate, yall know that I love to eat." we all slightly laugh. "alright well yall go head to wherever yall was going and I'll see you when the pizza comes." I say. "or maybe not." Aaliyah says with a smirk looking at August. I can't believe he brought her here just to have sex but at least I have Jason, it'll take all the pain away. I order the pizza and me and Jason finish were we left off, until August bust in my room without knocking. Jason jumps off top of me as I sit up. "what the hell do you want, y u busting up in my room like that didn't you see the door was closed?" I say getting slightly mad. "y u got niggas in between your legs don't you know girls that stay doing that become hoes?" I look at him and mug him and he goes the same to me. Aaliyah walks in and slaps August in the back of the head. "whatever Nyla, I came in here to ask you did you have any condoms?" I look at him with so much sadness written across my face. "you ain't got no more, there's none in the shared bathroom?" He shakes his head no. I sigh just then the door bell rings. "Imma go get it." Aaliyah says. "see if there's some in my nightstand, the one that's beside you." he looks in it and shakes his head no looking extremely mad, before I get to walk into the bathroom he calls me over to him and whispers something in my ear. "I thought you were a virgin, nyla." he says mugging Jason. "I am, I just didn't remember if u took some out of the draw from the last girl you had over." He nods his head as I walk into the bathroom to look for some. "what kind magnum or trojan?" I say yelling from the bathroom. "the usual." he yells. I grab the Trojan condoms and hands them to him. he always uses three so that he can make sure he ain't having no babies. Aaliyah comes back to my room with the pizza. "Nyla can we eat pizza and watch a movie in here?" Aaliyah asks. "who?" I say with my eyebrow lifted. she giggles. "all four of us." even though I didn't want to do it I agreed to it and plus I have a king sized bed so I wouldn't have to be that close to them. "Yah, whatever. don't be putting no food crumbs on my bed either or we beefing." That all laugh and jump on my bed. "damn, this bed is still hella comfortable and soft Nyla." Aaliyah says, I giggle cause that's the same exact thing that August says every time he sits on my bed. "Looks like you two really do have things in common since that's what August says every time he's on here." I say not looking at him but I can tell he had a smirk on his face cause I heard him suck his teeth. everybody sits on my bed, Aaliyah and August at the bottom and Jason in my spot. I walk to the dresser and open the pizza boxes and grab four plates. I put Aaliyah's slices on hers and hand it to her, next I do Jason then I do August last. I hand him his plate not looking at him or saying a thing but he does. "thank you baby sis and we need to talk before the end of the night." he says with a smile and I nod getting my plate off the dresser. "babe come and sit on my lap." Jason says with a smirk patting his thighs. I laugh and sit on his lip and August looks back shaking his head then turning back around. we watch the first movie which was SAW4. after that movie Aaliyah and Jason pick out the next movie and August grabs me and pulls me in the hallway. "are you serious I thought you was gonna just think about it not have him all up in your room doing god knows what." I sigh as August continues yelling. "you sitting over here tryna play me by going back to this nigga but it's all good, have him even though I really want you back. we can just go back to our old brother sister relationship." I shake my head. "for one we wasn't doing anything in my room so you can get quite with the shit. ain't nobody tryna play you either, your sitting here with Aaliyah so why you worried about who I'm messing with. sure wasn't thinking about it when you was trying to have sex with her." He looks me up and down. " I wasn't going to have sex with her, I only asked for the condoms just so that she would think that i would. you know what I told you, all i wanted was you, I wasn't going to do a single thing with her unless you want me to move on." I shook my head. "do what you need to do until I know I'm officially over Jason." "ok." he kisses my forehead and we walk back in the room. we all watch the movies fast and furious, the whole entire series. August would look back at me once in awhile and smile, I smile back at him too. Once we finish watching the last one I look over to my phone to see the time is 1am. "um anyone knows where my phone is?" August says looking underneath the covers, we all look around and can't find it. "I'll call it." I say and he nods. the second I call his phone we hear it underneath my bed he picks it up and I hang up. I was slightly shocked mainly because of the ringtone he had me as. I stare at him and he stares back. the song he had as my ringtone was heart attack by Trey Songz.
