August and Nyla have been best friends since the day they were born. They were both born on the same day on different years and they automatically knew each other because their mothers were best friends. As they grew up together they grew real close to one another. Even though August was from New Orleans and Nyla from New York when they first meet Nyla was 2 weeks old when Nyla's parents moved back to New Orleans. Anytime one was sad the other would be there to protect and comfort especially when August brother died. Nyla helped him through that and when Nyla's parents got into a car accident with Nyla in the car, her parents were killed automatically and she survived with a few injuries. August mother took Nyla in and August and her become even closer than they already were, they called each other brother and sister but as the years go on will they find out that they want more or that one wants more than the other?
