Zero's POV
"Zero? What does she mean?" Yuki turned to me. Dumbfounded.
I only stared back at the clueless Yuki. I knew what Ren meant and she was right but it wasn't Yuki's fault for not understanding what we're going through. She doesn't know I'm a vampire and I'm happy to keep it that way. "I don't know."
Yuki glanced to the direction Ren had walked off, then looked back at me suspicously. Some form of hatred was visible in her glare. "I don't like Ren..." She spoke slowly yet suddenly.
I felt a small pinch in my chest. I was hurt somehow. "Why?"
"I have a feeling she's going to cause some serious trouble at Cross Academy..."
I was offended by the way Yuki decided to dislike a girl she barley knew...how quick she judged her. "You're wrong!"
Yuki looked shocked as my voice slightly echoed throughout the small stable. We stared at each other in complete silence, neither one of us knew what to say next.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shocked me. I stumbled backwards with wide eyes and both hands pressed against my head. My vision became blurred and a ringing noise grew loudly, echoing in my head. I could see a blurred figure rush over to me as I fell unconsciously to the ground...
