Just like Ren said, Rido was already planning a birthday party for me. He never asked me once about the guests, the food or the layout of the actual party and the only thing he told me that was related to the party was to get a dress made for me by the tailor, Sakura. Sakura was much older than me, even though she didn't look like it, she was over 1,000 years old, I assumed she must've had many years of dress making experience. The woman was very strict and firm but at the same time very calm. "Come here please, Lady Kimi. I need to measure your waist."
I slowly stepped towards her and stopped when I was standing about thirty centimetres away. Sakura then took out a tape measure and wrapped it around my waist, tightening it as much as she could, I felt like she was squeezing the air out of me. "Sakura...it's too tight." I breathed.
"Hm." She loosened the tape measure a little bit, just enough for it to be comfortable. Sakura then took it off and wrote down the measurement that she had taken. "Lady Kimi, what would be the desired length of your dress?"
She had a notebook and pen at the ready, peering at me through her thin glasses. "Um, maybe about here."
I bent over slightly so I could touch just above my knee. Approvingly she nodded and wrote it on her notebook. "Colour?"
I thought for a moment.
"Black."
"Okay, I have the design in my head now. I just need to measure your height and chest width and you may leave." And so she did.
When I left her room, Ren was waiting for me outside. "You sorted?"
I nodded and smiled. "Three more days."
"Three more days." She said before escorting me back to my room.

Ayame's POV
Today was Saint Chocolado's day, this was really important to the day class girls because it's when they get to give their chocolates to the night class boys as a sign of affection. The sky was already beginning to turn a nice pink colour meaning it wasn't long until the night. We were standing in front of the gates, I could already hear the excited squeals of the girls and Yuki telling them the rules. Suddenly, the gates screeched open and it was all silent. Finally, the gates had come to a stop and the squealing started up again. Hanabusa began to walk forward "Taking chocolates is my specialty!" He grinned.
I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Wait, Yuki didn't say go."
He glared at me, then smirked. "You're just upset because you probably won't get any chocolates,"
I glared back and opened my mouth to retaliate but Kaname spoke up. "Hanabusa, behave yourself."
Hanabusa turned away from me and looked at Kaname. "Yes, Lord Kaname."
"Okay day class students, no pushing in line! And night class males, please go to each gate and receive the chocolates respectfully and don't ask for anything else! And remember, these girls take this event very seriously." Yuki then blew her whistle which was our signal to go.
I stuck with Rima as we walked around, gathering some chocolates front the few boys that attended the school. "Ayame, please accept this." I heard one say.
I simply smiled and took the chocolate he offered. "Thank you,"
By the end I gathered about 5 chocolate boxes and Rima had gathered quite a few too, Ruka had only received one which made me giggle causing her to scowl at me. The boys had collected loads of chocolates that you could hardly see their faces. "How many chocolates did you get, Lady Ayame?" Hanabusa said once we were inside.
I looked at him, he was holding a chocolate in one hand and a love letter in another. "Five boxes, why?"
"That's not enough, seems you need to be more outgoing to earn the love of the day class boys."
"There aren't that many day class boys, in case you haven't noticed!"
"Well, I have noticed that there are more than five day class boys." Hanabusa smirked and popped a chocolate in his mouth, awaiting my reaction.
"At least I won't become fat eating that much chocolate." I glared at him and smirked as well.
He furrowed his eyebrows and opened his mouth to carry on the argument but Kaname spoke up. "That's enough, Hanabusa..." he sighed. Kaname has been so depressed lately and I could tell he was missing Kimi. "Ayame...I need to talk to you. In private."
I nodded and stood up when he did, and followed him upstairs. We walked down the hallway and halfway he stopped. "Kaname?" I slowly approached him from behind and lifted my arm to hold his shoulder, suddenly, Kaname grabbed my wrist and pinned me to the wall then grabbed my other hand and pinned it against the wall, too. He stared sadly at me and began to lean forward. Wait...is he going to... I realised what was happening and tried to pull one of my hands away. "Kaname stop!" I yelled. I managed to get a hand free from his grip and then without thinking twice, I slapped him around the face making him stumble backward.
Kaname leant against the wall and slid down. "I'm so sorry, Ayame."
I heard him sniff. Kaname had bottled up his sadness for so long he let it out right there, curled up against the wall. "Kaname..."
I knelt next to him and rubbed his upper arm. "I thought that I would get over Kimi by..."
He couldn't finish, it hurt him to even say these things to me. "By using me..." I looked down at the floor. "Kimi's still alive, Kaname. We will get her back, Rido will be back and we'll force it out of him. I know she's alive and I know that you know it too."
Just as I said my final two words, I heard footsteps from the distance causing both me and Kaname to look up. It was Takuma, Hanabusa, Akatski, Senri, Rima and Ruka. Takuma looked worried. "What's going on? Lord Kaname, are you okay?"
They all looked shocked, they had never seen Kaname cry before. I looked at Hanabusa who immediately looked away. "Lets just leave these love birds alone." Hanabusa said coldly before walking away with his hands in his pockets.
"We aren't in love!" I called after him. "Is it wrong to comfort my best friend?"
"Seeing as you are the only one who knows Kaname better than us, I think we will leave you alone to 'comfort' him." Ruka glared at me before walking away. The others hung around for while before leaving as well.
