Chapter 12

4 weeks later

Ira POV

Rachel flies up with the others to go into the king. Yep you heard right, my girlfriend wants to go inside a frickin monster. On a hunch that Maya might have heard a light heart beat from it. I grab her arm and pull her back "Ira, what's wrong?" I look up at her pleadingly "Don't go" She raises an eyebrow "What, why?!"
She looks up as the other girls fly closer to that thing. Are they insane?! "There's nothing inside that..that thing except darkness, you won't survive." She tries to fly away "But I have to save your dad." I scoff and roll my eyes
"My dad's gone, and he's never coming back. I've made my peace with it, but I already lost Marie-"
My voice breaks and tears fill my eyes, I blink them back. "I can't lose you too." She leans forward and presses her forehead to mine
"You. will never lose me." I close my eyes "You don't know that." "Yes I do." She kisses me and I kiss her back, thinking she must've agreed with me. There's a scream and I see Clara- is...is she riding Lance. Rachel quickly pulls out of my grip. "I have to go help them, I'll be right back" I pull her closer "No I-I can't let you go in there" She kisses me again and starts to fly away. I watch her leave, "Don't worry Ira she promised she would be back" Kane says from his pouch. "Then, why does it sound like she meant to say goodbye."

Rachel POV

I fly up to the girls, knowing that I might never get to see Ira again.
"Come on girls, let's go save the king." We fly up to the kings mouth, as soon as we go inside I see a ton of bird distains coming after us. "Looks like we've got company." I turn around as the girls fly further in, "Glitter Force Diamond Whirlwind!!" The distains fly through the whirlwind, coming out as purified hearts.
Time skip
"Let's hit 'em with everything we've got!" Rory yells, "Yeah!" "GLITTER FORCE, DIAMOND BLIZZARD" We yell together. I know the cost of this power but it's the only way, I'm sorry Ira.

Ira POV

I'm watching the girls go into the monster whispering under my breath "Please, please, please." "GLITTER FORCE, DIAMOND BLIZZARD" shouts Rachel. A bright light shines from the king's mouth making me remember something

Marie taps a screen and a sign for each warrior pops up "Each Glitter warrior has its own special power. It can only be used once. Spade has her Power Punch, Clover has her Super Clover Reflection, Heart has Love power, You have your Wild Tornado, and Diamond has the most dangerous one of all.. the Diamond Blizzard" I look up at her "What does it do?" She frowns "It traps the user in a Diamond of solid ice."

"RACHEL!!" I teleport up to the monsters mouth, grabbing her by the arm before teleporting us back to the ground. I gently place her on the ground, leaning over her. "Rachel, Rachel please wake up babe, please." Her eyes flutter open "Ira?" I smile "Hey." She gives me a questioning look. "How did you know?" I brush her hair away from her face. "Marie told me what that power does, a long time ago. I couldn't watch you sacrifice yourself. You... you promised you'd come back." I help her up and she smiles and kisses me quickly
"Look something's happening!" Someone says. We look up to see the monster wobbling with hearts in its eyes. Rachel squints "It kinda looks like a defeated distain."
That's when I see it. The girls are flying out of the monster pulling someone out with them. I squint to get a better look. "D-d-dad?!" Dang it I'm stuttering again, I need.. "Rachel." I reach behind me and she laces our fingers together. "It's okay." She says softly. I look up at my father, he looks exhausted but... happy. My sisters are pulling him through the air, smiling. Of course they can smile, Marie always wanted to forgive him.
Time skip past the fight (if u don't know what happened, watch the last two episodes of season two) "She's gone forever, which means she'll never see the happy and peaceful Splendorious she worked so hard to bring about"
I put my hand on Mack's arm, she's right...what is that? The sky starts to glow pink and we all look up. An image of Marie appears smiling down at us. Mack smiles "Your Highness!"  "My love" Jonny says happily. Tears fill my eyes "Marie!" She smiles "Dearest Father, Jonathan, Ira. I'm sorry. I wish I could be with you physically, and not just in this form, but I divided my heart in two and it can never be put back together. Those two halves have grown up and have lives of their own now." Regina steps up "Don't you worry. I'll stand by my daddy's side and protect him!" "And I'll try to live my life like you would have lived your's Princess Marie Angelica!" Natalie says. Marie smiles "Thank you both." She says some sappy words to Jonny and Mac before turning to me. "Ira." She smiles and I try to smile back. I know that she wants me to be strong. "Hey sis" The world goes white around me until it's just me and my big sister, just like it used to be. I hug her tightly as she wraps her arms around me. "I know you Ira, and I know you blame Dad for my death." I pull back and look at her "Well of course I do, it's his fault." She rubs circles on my back "It's not his fault" I scowl, "But because of him I lost my sister" My eyes fill with angry, sad tears. "But you gained three new ones." Marie says. I ball up my fists and look down. She puts a finger under my chin and turns my head to look at her "Please Ira try to forgive dad. Do it for me." She hugs me again and the world goes back to normal "I must go, Thank you all." She fades away and I feel Rachel hug me from behind "You okay babe?" I smile "Yeah." Once dad apologizes then maybe we can go back to normal-ish.

Everything the Princess said (besides her talking to Ira) was actually said in the show. That girl talks a lot.
