Forgotten Love

Chapter 21

Ira POV

"Ira?" I look up at Rachel's face "hm?" I say sleepily, I haven't gotten much sleep since Kitty died. It's not from grief, more of worry. Knowing Kitty she's not gonna give up, dead or not. "Babe you need to sleep." Rachel says softly. "Mm mn I can't, Kitty-" "Kitty's gone. I'm safe, you need to sleep." I shake my head even as my eyelids start to fall. Rachel kisses my forehead "It'll be fine"

Kitty POV

I teleport into Ira's room. He's fast asleep and no one else is around, perfect. "Ira" I whisper, "Mm, Rachel?" I scowl, how dare he call her name. I shake my head and play along "Yes it's me, I have a surprise for you. Come with me." I take his hand and teleport to the base. That wakes him up and he stands "KITTY!" I smile and he backs away "You died." He says "Actually," Marmo steps out of the shadows with an evil smile "I pulled her out just in time." Ira scowls "Marmo." She locks the door, turning on the anti-teleportation. "You will never reach Rachel. I won't let you hurt her." He says. I laugh and make the mind wipe ball "Oh Ira, I'm not gonna hurt her." I blast him with the energy ball and he screams "You will."

Rachel POV

We're sitting in the Pig Tail when I hear Ira's voice in my head

Rachel, Regina come to the field where we fought Proto-Mercinare. Bring the girls, somthing's wrong!

I look at Regina and she nods "Guys we need to go to the battlefield!" She says. We all run out and see a big circular ditch in the center of the field, surrounded with kids from school and some of civilians.

Regina teleports us into the ditch and we see Kitty sitting on a throne with Marmo at her side."Kitty! I thought you were dead." She smiles evilly "Funny that's what Ira said too." My face turns pale and I see people gathering around us "What did you do to him?!" She laughs and Ira steps out from behind her.

"Are these the people I need to destroy, my love?" He says. My love?! Why is he calling her his love? "IRA NO!" Mackenzie yells.

Kitty nods "Yes my love, destroy them so we can be together." Ira smiles evilly

"Transform quick!" We start our transformation but halfway through Ira zaps Clara and Maya, he laughs "Did you really think I would wait for you to finish your transformation?"

His green eyes darken, wait green eyes? "Guys that's not Ira!" Regina looks at me "What do you mean?!" She dodges one of Ira's attacks "Look at his eyes! They're green!" Mackenzie's eyes widen "He's been hypnotized!" He makes a ball of dark energy and blasts her into the wall.

"See I knew he was evil!" Luka says from the top of the ditch. "Shut up!" Regina yells. "Ira this isn't you." I say stepping toward him. He lifts a ball of dark energy and throws it at me "Yes it is." I duck under the ball.

Regina points her spear of light at him. "Reg, you wouldn't hit your little brother would you?" He says innocently. Regina falters but then shoots out a beam of light "You, are not my brother." She says.

Ira rolls his eyes and pushes a beam of darkness against hers. Sweat starts to fall down Regina's forehead. Ira grins and his beam hits her, knocking her out.

Natalie floats in the air "Activate Sparkle Stick." She pulls out her magical lipstick "Apply shades of power!" Ira rolls his eyes "Let's not." He flicks a ball of dark energy at her causing her to faint.

He closes in on me "Ira stop this!" I plead, dodging a ball of dark energy. "Why don't you fight back, it'll make this more fun." He steps closer and makes another ball of energy. "Because I love you Ira!" He freezes and the energy ball disappears. His eyes flicker "What?" I step closer "I. Love. You." I say. He steps back and his eyes flicker again. I detransform "Ira please, I won't hurt you just remember who you are."

Ira pauses and his gaze falls on my neck. I put my fingers on the diamond necklace Ira got me for our anniversary. "Do you remember this Ira? You gave me this the night you told me that you loved me." Ira's eyes quickly flicker from green to yellow and back once. He scowls "Just fight me!" his eyes dart to the necklace but quickly pull away when Kitty yells "FINISH HER ALREADY IRA" his eyes turn a darker green.

I look at him with determination "Ira I won't fight you because I love you" He freezes "I never want to hurt you." His eyes flicker rapidly "R-Rachel?" I smile and he looks around at the damage "What have I done?" I walk closer to him "It's ok, it's gonna be okay. I'm here"

"IRA GO AND KILL HER ALREADY" Ira's eyes stop flickering and they turn light green "You should run Rachel" "NO I'M NOT LEAVING YOU" a tear falls from his eye as he chokes out the words "Please, I don't want to hurt you" I step closer "Then don't hurt me" I put a hand on his cheek "But Kitty-" "Kitty doesn't control you, I know you can do this Ira. You're a good person" more tears start to fall "Nobody believed that even when I tried my best, no matter how many times I save them I'm still the villain" I hear gasps from the top of the ditch as people see what their accusations and bullying have done. "So why not just be the monster they want me to be" He says making a ball of dark energy

"Ira this is you're choice to make, but whatever you choose just know, I love you" I close my eyes and place my forehead on his. I open my eyes and see his beautiful golden ones staring back at me, I smile and hug him tightly "I knew you could do it"

Ira walks over to our friends "I hurt them." I hold his hand "They'll forgive you." He hovers his other hand over Regina and closes his eyes. Regina gasps and sits up "Ira?" He hugs her "I'm sorry I'm so sorry!" Regina hugs him back. He does the same to Natalie, then Maya, then Mackenzie, then Clara. We gather around and hug him "I'm sorry." He says teary eyed "I didn't want to hurt you guys." Regina nods "We know." Mackenzie hugs him "It's ok." Natalie hugs him tightly "We forgive you"

"NO, NO, NO!!!!" We look over and see Kitty throwing a tantrum "NO IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU NO ONE CAN" She pulls out a dark heart "COME ON OUT DISTAIN." The black heart ceacks open to reveal... a giant dark heart. "GET THEM DISTAIN" Angry tears are streaming down Kitty's face as she orders the distain to attack us.
