Forgotten Love

Chapter 13

I'm sitting on my bed with Dina in my arms. Rachel is on one side of me, Mac on the other, Kane is on my shoulder, and my sisters are in various places in the room cleaning up the broken glass. Yes I said broken glass, okay so maybe my talk with dad didn't go as expected

I walk up to my room with dad expecting an apology "So dad what did you want to talk about?"
He sits on my bed "I just wanted to catch up, I've missed you."
Missed me? He MISSED ME
"Missed me? what about my apology?" He scratches his head
"Why would I apologize , I didn't do anything wrong." I scowl "NOTHING WRONG!?" The world goes red "MAYBE YOU SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR, OH I DON'T KNOW." I start to tick the things off on my fingers "DESTROYING MY HOME, KILLING MY SISTER, BRAINWASHING ME, MAKING EVERYONE I LOVE FORGET ABOUT ME, FORCING ME TO ATTACK MY KINGDOM AND INNOCENT PEOPLE ON EARTH!"
I see my sisters, Mac, and Rachel walk in "But-" "I'M NOT DONE, YOU TRIED TO KILL ME AND THE GIRL I LOVE ON NUMEROUS ACCOUNTS, YOU BRAINWASHED REGINA WHEN SHE SHOWED THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF GOOD, OH AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT HOW YOU FORCED BOTH OF US TO LOOK FOR MARIE SO YOU COULD DESTROY HER." I pick up a vase and throw it next to his head. It crashes into the wall and the girls gasp. Regina grabs my wrist "Ira stop, don't hurt him!" I calm down a bit "Oh please Reg you know me better than that. I missed on purpose, unlike this monster I don't intentionally hurt people."

Rachel grabs my hand "Ira we want to be on your side here, but it looks pretty bad." "Please tell us what happened." Mack says softly. I sigh and look at my little sister in my lap "He said he did nothing wrong." Natalie and Regina stop cleaning and look at me "WHAT!? I look up at them with angry tears in my eyes "He asked me why he should apologize to anyone when the darkness was controlling him and he did nothing wrong, he said that all he wanted to do was forget any of this ever happened and move on." "He has a point." I turn to Mack, how could she even say that. "Mack you forget that even though I was brainwashed when I did what I did. I apologized because I was ashamed and sorry that all that disaster and pain happened by my hand." I pointed out to the hall and blink back my tears "He didn't sound ashamed or sorry Mack. He seemed perfectly fine with destroying our home." My voice breaks on the word home and I put my head in my hands. Rachel and Mac give me a hug and Regina looks livid
"HOW COULD HE SAY THAT TO YOU, I OTTA!" I get up, rush to the door, and levitate her over my shoulder before she reaches it. She pounds my back, protesting
"IRA LET ME GO, I GOTTA GO BEAT SOME SENSE INTO DAD!"
Natalie steps up and grabs her face "No Regina, we are superheroes; we don't solve our problems by beating people up. No matter how much they deserve it." I laugh at my sisters and their weirdness. "Thanks for making me laugh, I love you guys." They pounce on me in a hug with Dina on top "We love you too. And don't worry, we'll deal with dad together." Natalie says. Regina shrugs "Or you could just let me beat him up." "NO!" Natalie and I say at the same time." We burst into laughter and I know that I am ready to face my father ... some other time.

I know I haven't posted in a while but I swear I have a good reason. It was finals week dun dun dunnn! Anyway now that I'm on Christmas break I'll be able to update more. Love you guys!
