It's been 3 months since the night...
It was the day of the staff meeting but Aoi's sleepy ass woke up late. Even if Akane called him, and tried to wake him up he just said 'I'll be there, go on without me'.
Now, He woke up multi-tasking.
.Where are you? Almost all of us are here!
.I'm coming!
He threw on his grey turtleneck.
He let out a breath, ran a hand through his messy hair, and cursed under his breath.
Meanwhile, he grabbed a granola bar from his desk and shoved it into his mouth, unceremoniously eating on the go. He kept checking the time. Every second felt like it was working against him.
Mother- Have your breakfast before you go-
Aoi- I'll eat later!
He ran out and got on his cycle. He sped through the quiet streets, weaving through traffic, the rush of wind in his ears drowning out everything else. He locked his cycle up before walking in.
Walking through the dim hallway of the familiar agency, he reached the studio. He looked at the other cast members.
Kindaichi- Speak of the devil
Akane gave him a stern stare sending chills down his spine.
Aoi- Sorry, I'm late
He walked in.
Aoi- Aoi Kurokawa, with Ichigo productions, playing Kazuya
He looked around and saw Aqua, Akane, and Kana.
"Three familiars..."
One of them he recognized as Melt Narushima from Sweet today and the other was sitting in a corner as the star actor of Lalalai. Taiki Himekawa.
Then some other actors and models of different agencies.
Looking at the other side of the room. He noticed a guy with half-white and half-black hair who he identified as Sumiaki Raida the producer.
Raida- Let's work together to make Tokyo Blade a major success!
A few minutes later after everyone got their script.
Kindaichi- Today is supposed to be a staff meeting but all the main castes are here so shall we start with the script reading? We'll start after half past so talk among yourselves till then or get ready
With that, he left the room. Aoi sat on the ground, opening his script before reading some lines.
"Kazuya's an Oni...He used to be in the Shibuya faction but he rebelled and was on his own on nobody's side until he met Blade, Kizami, and Tsurugi. He's just a cold, humorous guy"
He looked at everyone there.
"They all look so hyped up. I'll let them go on bright. I just took the invitation because of money..."
He looked down on the script.
"I need to afford a DNA test...it's around 50k yen. But, right now it's about the story. How should I connect with Kazuya? But he does sound like me"
He closed his eyes.
"A rebel. Doesn't fit in anywhere until he meets the others"
Aoi had always been the type to stand apart, never fully fitting in with anyone. It made sense that Kazuya would speak to him.
"The guy was emotionally distant, detached"
Kazuya had his reasons for being that way.
"What about mine?"
