Young Akane was trying to reach a button in a vending machine to get a drink but her height wasn't helping at all. A staff was walking to the audition room and mistook her as Kana but he did help her get the drink.

Akane- Thank you!

She bowed to him.

Staff- Are you nervous, Kana?

Akane- Um...I'm not-

Staff- Don't worry, it's already decided that you'll get that role. This audition is just a formality, so, just relax, Kana

Suddenly another voice interrupts.

???- What is it about me?

The staff looked at the other girl wide-eyed.

Staff- Kana...

Akane instantly got on her feet and looked at Kana with pure admiration.

"it's Kana-chan...in the flesh!"

The staff stood up walking away.

Staff- crap...

Akane bowed her head.

Akane- I-I'm your...fan

She held her beret which matched with a white one from a poster of Kana's behind her and Kana seemed to notice that.

Kana- I can tell

Akane was steeled.

Akane- Um...the man said something strange. He said the results of the audition are already decided and that they are gonna pick you but that is a mistake, right? You'd not cheat

Kana had a cold tone at first but then got back to her snarky tone.

kana- So what if I do? let me teach you something. This is something called a fixed match. Here, they do an audition for the sake of their reputation but it had been fixed from the start that they'd pick me

Akane looked shocked as she stood still.

Akane- Kana-chan...are you ok with that?

Kana- Of course, I am. I can get a job

Akane moved around.

Akane- Aren't auditions held to choose the best actor? So how could they-

Kana- You don't get it, do you? Anyone with decent acting skills can play this minor role!, so, it's natural for them to pick someone like me. It's about whether it makes money or not! They can get better ratings using a famous child actor over one that can act. That makes me a better option! Who cares about acting?!

Akane walks forward.

Akane- You're wrong. That's not true, is it, Kana-chan? You don't mean it, right? That you don't care about acting. I mean you're-

Akane extends her hand to Kana with an innocent face.

Kana- Don't talk like you know me!

Young Kana got agitated and turned around, slapping Akane's red hat away.

Kana- And what's with that hat?! This is so stupid! I hate people like you!

Akane's eyes brimmed with tears as her hat fell behind. A single tear rolled down her cheek.

Kana- Don't go around imitating me!

She turned around and walked to the audition room leaving Akane alone.
