Waking up in the morning, Another weekend. Aoi followed his usual routine of getting ready for the day. Due, to Akane's shooting for the show she always leaves the house by 9 whereas Aoi wakes up usually at 10.
After getting a nice cold shower, fixing his hair, and wearing a comfortable pair of dark sweatpants and a white shirt, he walks downstairs.
Mother- Morning dear!
Aoi yawned.
Aoi- Mornin'
He sat at the counter as his mother gave him his favorite breakfast. The usual scrambled eggs and sausages with fish sauce.
Aoi- Thanks
He quietly started eating up as his mother gave him a bowl of rice.
Mother- You're welcome. You need to eat well if you want to stay sharp for your day
Aoi chews on rice.
Aoi- yeah
His mother sat across from him, sipping her tea as she observed him.
Mother- Akane's been leaving so early for her shoots lately. I hope she's not wearing herself out
Aoi swallows.
Aoi- She always works hard
He says again chewing.
Mother- You two are growing up so fast
Aoi- Don't worry about me, worry about Akane right now, one dumb move can butcher her up on social media
Mother- It's just hard not to worry. She's always been so driven to do her best
Aoi finishes his rice.
Aoi- She'll be fine as long as she doesn't fall into an internet drama
His mother smiles, her expression softening as she watches him for a moment. Then, she leans back in her chair.
Mother- So, what is your plan today?
Aoi takes a piece of sausage in his mouth.
Aoi- Going to the agency, they are having a meeting to what to name their group
Mother- That sounds nice
She sips on her tea again.
Mother- So, who are the members of that group you're managing? You've never told me their names
Aoi- They are Arima Kana, the same one who always takes Akane's roles
His mother leaned on the counter gaining interest.
Aoi- And, Ruby Hoshino...remember Aqua from the show Akane's in? His sister. That's all...they are still saying that they will look for another member or two but for now, these two are in training
His mother has a teasing smile.
Mother- Seems like a handful of girls, huh
Aoi catches the hint and sighs.
Aoi- It's just my job
His mother chuckled.
Mother- My little Aoi, all grown up, managing a group of girls. I never thought I'd see the day
Aoi- for the first time and last, I'm not interested in romance
Mother- You're a good person, Aoi. Always looking out for others. Even when it's a handful
Aoi gritted his teeth.
Aoi- They have Miyako and Aqua too...I'm not alone and it's definitely not a handful!
