Volume 8~ First step

The one-month run of Tokyo Blade finally came to an end. All of its cast has gotten fair popularity, especially Aoi as Kazuya where one of his shots became famous and flexed his side profile. It felt like a revival of Aoi Kurokawa's reputation which was dipped after his high time when he was eleven.

Aoi was lying on his bed, it was 10:23 P.M

Aoi- I'm bored. I can't continue until I know for sure if the twins are Ai's...I might just be doing it for nothing

He looked at the bookshelves filled with mangas and other books.

Aoi- read it all

He tossed around. Just then his phone beeped.

"Takuya maybe"

He opened his phone looking up for the message and it wasn't Takuya but Ruby.

. Aoi-Kun, are you awake?

Aoi stared at the message. They barely talked here except for the times she sent cute shorts.

. Need Something?

He replied and instantly got a message.

. Are you free tomorrow?

He quickly checked his schedule on his phone and he's free for the upcoming few days.

. Yeah

He typed and waited. Ruby has seen the message but hasn't replied yet. Then finally after two whole minutes, it came as 'typing' and then a message.

. Yay!! Let's hang out!

Aoi was about to type 'I'll pass' but then remembered.

"I'm stupid, it is an opportunity for me to get her DNA sample!"

He punched his face lightly.

"Maybe I should bring Takuya along"

He then types.

. Sure, I guess. Should I call Takuya over?

Then another message popped instantly.

. No need to! Just us hanging out

. Where?

. Why don't we meet up at the central park at 11 a.m.?

. Fine. See you then. Good night

He wrote with many punctuations. 

. Good night! ^^

He saw it and put his phone aside. He felt his heart race and put his hand on his chest.

"I'm just a boy"

A smile was surfacing on his face but he got a sudden headache.

Aoi- Agh!

He clutched his head with his hands. Then a familiar voice spoke.

???- You really thought you could be happy because someone wants to hang out with you? 

Aoi opened his eyes as if hallucinating. An entity with an enormous black aura emitting from it looked down at him.

 Aoi- Kai...I didn't mean to be

Kai- Stop it with your useless excuses

Aoi shuts his eyes and grits his teeth. 

Aoi- JUST GET AWAY FROM ME! WE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE! 

He tried to punch and shove the figure away but it disappeared and Aoi fell off the bed with a huge thud. He sat up leaning against the bed clutching his forehead with his right palm. A pair of footsteps were heard and the door opened to Akane and behind her was their mother.
