"Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire. I hold with those who favor fire...She was gone. The girl I had loved was taken by the glowing orange flames that surrounded her. The way the fire danced around...

When eighteen-year-old Rose Halliwell returns back to her childhood home in Vermont for school a series of unexpected events causes her life to unfold quickly before her. Old friends, seen and unseen welcome her back as they start the new semester at old Oakridge College.
In a town full of mysteries, delusion and drama Rose will have to try and get past old mistakes and refrain from making new ones, only one of her mistakes...sits beside her. Her pale skin and ghostly blue eyes have haunted her for the past five years, only now those hauntings seem to come alive.
We look forward to seeing you and just remember...stay away from where the foxes dwell.
Sneak Peak:
"A flash of amber caught my eye as the car slowed, my head never lifted but my vision fixated on the decaying oak tree ahead. Its long arms stretching out towards me pressuring me to show it some kind of affection, as if in a past life I already had. The leaf's crimson red veins spanning across began to grow cold, slipping through a broken sheet of ice. The amber leaf fell slowly onto a bed of brittle, faded remains. It clung to a season that had already slipped away, unaware it would soon share the same fate.
Behind each branch, each dying twig laid a blanket of heavy mist. A velvet blue ghost dancing across the wind peered through if you looked hard enough. A blue fog that would haunt me forever. A tear from the clouds above ran down the window, tracing a path, a shimmering line, mimicking the one running down my dull skin as if it shared my pain. I only then realized that it was her pale blue eyes...staring back at me."
