I got woken up by a message notification on my phone.
It was Bella.
<<Ellie, get your butt over the breakfast room asap. I wanna see you.
Ps: Good morning baby. >>

It was 6:30 a.m... did she even sleep, though?

I texted her back.
<<Thank you for the morning delight, lover.
Ps: I'm coming, can't wait to see you.>>

I got out of bed, that jerk of Joe was still sleeping, and I took a shower.
When I was about to get dressed, he walked into the bathroom and almost gave me a heart attack.

"Ellie," he called me.
He still looked devastated.
I ran past him and got dressed as quickly as possible.

"You're not going to talk to me?!"
I didn't respond.

He grabbed my arm, forcing me to stop.
"You're forgetting we're getting married tomorrow," he said firmly.

Just him using the word "married" made me sick to my stomach, yuck!

"Let's forget about the past," I said calmly, keeping up the act.

He slowly loosened his grip on my arm.
"Exactly. You're so good, kid..." He smirked, pulling me into a hug that felt like a trap.

I was about to head upstairs alone with the excuse of getting breakfast, but Joe insisted multiple times on coming with me.
We went down together, and I didn't like it at all.
The redhead wouldn't have liked it either.

Bella was already there, pacing back and forth like crazy. The second our eyes met, I shot her a reassuring smile, and she instantly gave me one back.
Of course, Joe had to ruin the moment and throw his arm around my neck.
Bella was seriously pissed off and annoyed by it.

"Good morning," Joe smirked.
She tried to ignore him, while I offered her an apologetic look.
Her useless fake boyfriend was already at the table, looking just as messed up as Joe.

"I'm going to check on the breafast..." I mumbled, catching her attention.
"I'm coming with you." She replied instantly.
I started walking, and she moved beside me, purposely brushing her body against me.

"Hey, baby..." she whispered softly.
"Hey, love..." I replied, my cheeks turning red.

"You okay?"

"I am now, with you. Are you?" I smiled.

"I'm going to punch him," she muttered, her mood shifting.

I looked right into her eyes. "You're not doing anything like that."

"That would be so fucking good," she said with a satisfied smirk.

"Sure, baby... but we have to keep a low profile, remember?"

She paused, her eyes narrowing in disgust: "You have no idea how much I hate seeing him touch you like that."
"I know... I know that feeling... but we have to resist just a little bit, okay?"
She rolled her eyes but seemed to relax a bit.

She glanced over at Joe and Leo, smirked, and then kissed me on the neck, sucking on it.
I raised an eyebrow, feeling a rush of excitement, "Careful," I warned, "or you might just get in trouble."

She laughed. "Oh, I like trouble..."
"Hm, tell me about it!" I burst into laughter.

She took a plate, put food on it, and passed it to me, I did the same with her.
"Hey, we need to talk to Delilah about the plane tickets. We should come up with another excuse to leave..." I said.
"Yeah, Ellie, it's not gonna be hard. They're so fucking clueless..."

I smiled. "I don't want to talk about them right now... I've missed you so much, Bella, you know..." I whispered.

She smiled sweetly. "I missed you too, more than you know. And I wish we could kiss right now..."
