[A/N: We shall imagine that Quinn is older in this. :'D]

Prompt: Clodagh and Quinn satisfy their cravings, much to Sorcha's delight.

It was barely six in the morning when Clodagh padded into the kitchen, still shaking off sleep. Quinn was already up, tying her hair into a messy bun and setting up the coffee machine. Saturdays were their thing—a little ritual she cherished, where they cleaned every corner of the house and rewarded themselves with something good to eat.

But today was different.

“Morning, love,” Clodagh greeted, ruffling Quinn’s hair.

Quinn swatted her away playfully. “Good morning, Mam. You remember what I said yesterday?”

“About the shawarma rice?” Clodagh asked, leaning against the counter.

Quinn nodded enthusiastically. “I need it. I’ve been dreaming about it.”

Clodagh laughed. “Alright, let’s make it happen. I’ll head out and grab the veggies and meat. You get started on the iced coffee, yeah?”

Quinn grinned. “Deal.”

Clodagh slipped out into the early morning chill, heading to the market. She carefully picked out fresh vegetables, tender meat, and the ingredients for flavorful garlic and cheese sauces. By the time she returned, Quinn had two tall glasses of iced coffee waiting on the counter.

“Perfect timing,” Quinn said, handing her a glass.

“You’re a lifesaver,” Clodagh replied, taking a sip. “Alright, let’s get to it.”

The two got to work in perfect sync, chatting as they chopped vegetables, marinated the meat, and simmered rice on the stove. The kitchen filled with the warm, tantalizing aroma of garlic, spices, and roasting meat.

Upstairs, Sorcha stirred, her senses pulling her out of a deep sleep. The smell of something delicious wafted through the house, and she stretched lazily before heading downstairs in her pajamas.

“Morning, sleepyhead,” Clodagh called out as Sorcha entered the kitchen.

Sorcha blinked at the sight of the two of them bustling around the kitchen, bowls and ingredients scattered across the counter. “What are you two up to this time?”

Quinn beamed. “Shawarma rice! You’re just in time.”

Sorcha laughed softly, leaning against the doorway. “And here I thought I’d have to settle for toast.”

The three of them began assembling their bowls, layering fluffy rice, spiced meat, fresh vegetables, and drizzling the homemade garlic and cheese sauces on top. They sat together at the table, the early morning sun streaming through the windows.

“This is amazing,” Sorcha said after the first bite, her eyes widening.

Clodagh smirked. “You’ve got Quinn to thank for the inspiration.”

Quinn grinned, her cheeks flushing. “It was a team effort.”

As they ate, they fell into easy conversation, laughing and sharing stories. By the time the bowls were empty, the house was filled with warmth—not just from the food, but from the simple joy of being together.

“Alright,” Clodagh said, pushing back her chair. “Now that we’re fueled up, it’s time to get cleaning.”

Quinn groaned dramatically, but the smile on her face gave her away. “Fine, but only because I’m feeling generous.”

Sorcha laughed. “You two go ahead. I think I’ll stay out of the way and enjoy my coffee.”

As Clodagh and Quinn grabbed their cleaning supplies, Sorcha leaned back in her chair, watching them with a fond smile. Saturday mornings like this were her favorite—a reminder of the love and care that made their little family whole.

[A/N: Last published chapter of the day for this book! I will be limiting it to two chapters per day in both oneshots books since I won't be having as much time to write due to the holiday season and my family coming over! Around the 23rd I will be doing one chapter per day until around January 2nd. After that I will be going back to more chapters, so don't worry! :) Also, the reason AGAIN that I wrote something like this was because I was craving Shawarma Rice and iced coffee, so I made some for myself. :)]
