HARDEST THING TO DO

I looked at the clock on the wall. From the diamond shaped analogue to the aura of wealth alone was enough to tell me I was never gonna see myself here.
Yet, here I am in this really expensive, very high quality mall.
I turned my head over.

As if feeling my glare, Jake said still tapping on his phone.
"Stop staring like you want me and pick something already."
Before I could respond, a tall, black haired, somewhat skinny woman with so much makeup that made her look like a doll and not the pretty ones ; those ugly, monster like dolls you see in the dumpster walked over.
"Hello, welcome to De Belle. I'm Nicole and I'm be helping you today." She said to us well more like to Jake than to me, practically raping him with her eyes.
The way she awfully swayed her hips and violently bit her obviously fake lips like COME DOWN GIRL, YOUR TRYING TO HARD!!
Jake still more interested on his phone than whatever she was doing replied
"Help her find something." turned and looked at me "I'll be waiting on the couch." before leaving.
Immediately I turned to her I was met with judgemental and disgusted eyes looking at me.
Something I'm not new with
I sighed before working towards the clothing section.
I went to the ball gown side and looked for something a little cheaper yet elegant and simple.
"Ooh, this is cute" I grabbed a white and black sequined dress that was short in the front and long at the back.
I looked around and saw an outfit that caught my eye. It was closer to the shoe section which was good  cuz I needed to buy shoes as well.
"Did you see that girl from earlier" I stopped.
I came closer to the direction of the voice.
"You mean the girl with a big grey tee and black baggy jeans?"
I looked at my clothes.

"She looked so werid and ugly"  A voice said which I recognize it as the guide lady. I think her name was Nicole.
"I'm not sure about ugly but I do know poor!" A different voice said making both of them laugh.
"But I got to say that guy next to her was really hot" Nicole said.
"Yeah, I saw him from afar and his beauty was so blinding." The another agreed.
"Do you think they're dating?" She asked again.
"I highly doubt" Nicole said "maybe she's his maid or something and he decided to replace her rays with actual clothes." She continued.
"True that" they both laugh.
At this point, I didn't know tears had already soaked my face.
"Come on, let's go before they started looking for us" and heels started clacking away.
My eyes were starting to get blurry as more tears began to fall.
I dropped all that was in my hands and ran out with my eyes closed.
Soon I bumped into something or someone cuz immediately I was engulfed with a firm but comforting hug.
I was hesitant at first but later relaxed as a familiar husky scent filled my nostrils.
We stayed like that for a few minutes until I looked up to see Jake's handsome yet worried face.
I could see what those girls met. Jake had a very handsome and mature face and body with his additional height you couldn't think he was a college student heck you probably mistaken him for a model in a vogue magazine.
"I... wanna.... leave"I managed to say through my hiccups.
"Are you okay?" He softly asked.
I shook my head.
"Did those girls bother you?"
I nodded still looking at his beautiful hazel eyes. He took my hands and we went towards to the reception area where they stayed.
Nicole was laughing with a fair girl who assumed was the girl she was talking to earlier. She nudged Nicole who turned and walked to us with the most fake smile ever.
"I would like both you to apologize to her" Jake said with a cold voice.
Nicole turned to me confused.
"I don't understand. "
Apologize for bothering my girlfriend."
Nicole, her friend and I looked at Jake with wide eyes.
"GIRLFRIEND!!!" Nicole and her friend said in unison.
I'm tired of calling her "Nicole's friend " let's call her bitcha cuz she looks at a bitch-a.
"What? You got a problem with that?" He cocked a brow.
"No no no sir but we didn't do anything really." Bitcha said.
"Oh really?" He brought out his phone and typed something before putting it back in his pocket.
Ding
"Let's go" Jake pulled my hands and we started walking out.
"What the f**k! " I turned back and saw Nicole and bitcha looking at their phones in horror.
"Lucy am I dreaming please tell me I'm dreaming?!!" Nicole screamed as bitcha now known as Lucy was looking pale staring at Nicole in shock as well.
Immediately we entered the car, I saw Nicole and Bitcha- I mean Lucy running towards us with heels in their hands.
Before they could open the door, we drove away.
"What did you do?" I turned to Jake who was driving with a calm look in his face.
"I got them fired" he said like it was a normal thing to do.
"You what?!" I yelled almost choking on my saliva.
"I got them fired" he repeated handing me a bottle of water.
"Why?" I asked after nearly finishing the content in the bottle.
"Because they hurt your feelings...and criticizing people isn't right especially if their customers that want to buy from them "
"But how?" I asked trying to ignore the warning feeling in my body.
"Simple, I texted the owner and the assistant must have informed them that they had lost their job.
"You know the owner of DE BELLE?" I gasped.
"Hmm, and don't worry about the outfit, I'll send my assistant to get you something."
"Okay thanks" I thanked before looking out the window.
Soon, we stopped at a restaurant to eat and Jake dropped me home as I went on with the rest of my day.

6 more days before Christmas wooohooo!!!!!!!
I have this cute plan as a gift for Christmas I just hope I can achieve it before the deadline.
I will try to post 2 chapters everyday. So expect another one later today if not then early tomorrow morning.
