HARDEST THING TO DO

I unlocked the front door and stepped inside closing it behind me.
"It's so dark" I said before switching on the lights.
"Hello?" I called before dumping my purse on the couch.
No one answered.
"Hello!" I called again louder.
No reply
I sighed.
I walked to the kitchen and on the lights.
It's still clean.
"She not back" I said before opening the fridge looking for any food.
Nothing
"Great, remain me to go grocery shopping" I said to no one.
"There's gonna be something here " I said before reaching the cupboard.
My face fell in disappointment. "Nothing."
I closed it and sat on the chair Infront of the small family table that we never used anymore.
I laid on my head on the table deep in throught.

"Hahaha, daddy that tickles!!" I laughed loudly.
"That's what happens when you cheat your old man in a game hide and seek!"
"I'm..... I'm sorry haha" I laughed harder.
"Are you now?...." Dad stopped for a moment. ".... or are you gonna do AGAIN!" He roared before resuming with more force.
" Ahahahaha!!" I kicked for freedom.
"Honey, Emily dinner's ready!!" Mom yelled from the kitchen.
"Let's go Elle" Dad hopped me on his shoulder and moved to the kitchen making aeroplane noises.
" Weeeeeee" I giggled with my hands in the air.
When we got to kitchen Mom was done with the table, she came towards us with a smile and picked me off Dad's shoulders.
" You two troublemakers can't stay one place without making any ruckus."
She smiled at dad.
"It's not my fault she cheated." He shrugged.
"Hmmm" I pulled out my tongue towards dad.
"See!" He pointed at me.
"Hmm" I pulled out my tongue again.
Mom sighed shaking her head"You too"
before walking away towards the table.
We sat down and started eating the food.
"Hmm mommy your meals are always delicious" I I hummed in delight as I stuffed food in my mouth.
"Whoa! slow down Elle, you could choke chew properly" Dad grabbed a nakipin and cleaned my lips.
" Thank you Daddy!" I said before stuffing even more food in my mouth.
Dad looked at me for a while " for a child you do have a wide mouth."
I paused shallowed all the contents in my mouth and glared at dad before turning to Mom.
"Mom, Dad's calling me a big mouth!" I whined.
Mom looked at dad.
"What! She does and a big appetit too" Dad teased.
"Mom!" I whined again.
Mom rolled her eyes. "You two, stop making noise and eat your meal"
"Yes ma'am" Dad grinned.
" No fair" I pouted before eating my meal.
My mom laughed then my dad then me.

I woke up and looked at my surroundings before checking the time.
                             1:01 pm
I stared blankly at my phone for a couple of seconds.
I'm bored
I got up and off the lights before closing the door and leaving for the next destination.
