I left the bathroom and walked to Jake's bed. "I'll be back." I kissed his forehead before heading towards the door. Things will get better I gave him one last look before leaving the room. I met Linda on my way outside. "Hey, where are you going by the way?" She asked. "To school, need to pickup some assignments." She nodded. We cried eyeballs out to each other some days ago, yeah I was upset but not at her at myself. I still blame myself for not hearing him out. Linda felt bad and has been trying to make me feel better. But it didn't do much. I left and stood waiting for a taxi. A yellow cab stopped in front of me. "Wellitin university." I said buckling my seat belt. He nodded before starting the car. We drove out of the hospital compound into the main road, I unlocked my phone and checked out my social media. I haven't been there in a while. I occasionally looked up but when I looked up the third time I stopped. "Um, Sir you made a wrong turn somewhere, this isn't road to Wellitin university." Silence. "Sir." I called again. Click I turned to the door and tried to open it. It's locked? I gave a nervous laugh. "Um.. Sir you accidentally locked the doors, could you please unlocked them." He didn't reply instead he increased the car's speed. "Sir?.. Sir!! Open the door!" I started banging on it. That's when I noticed we were a lonely road. Shit! Wait I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Levi's number carefully not putting it on speaker. "Hello?" He spoke after the second ring "Levi! I need your help. I'm-" before I could continue a handkerchief covered my nose and mouth. "Hello? Hello! Emily are you there?" He spoke as I struggled to get it off my face but the person was too strong and kept on pressing it further. Slowly I began to lose breath as darkness swallowed me. "Emily, Emily where are you? Are you okay?!" I'm....being....kidnapped. . . . Linda's POV "Emily where are you? Are you okay?!" Levi yelled on the phone. We heard some muffling sound before the line cut. I turned to Levi"what just happened? What are we gonna do?" He signed putting his hand in his hair. "This is bad, this is really bad." "What's bad? What are you saying?" I asked as fear starting creeping inside me. "Where did you say she went to?" He turned to me. "Sh.. she went to school to get some assignments and notes." I answered. He stopped in his tracks and held my shoulders looking me in the eyes. "I think Emily just got kidnapped." ""What?" An unknown but familiar spoke before I could. We slowly turned to the now awake patient. "Jake!"
