Ding-dong "Coming!!" I yelled from my room before running down the stairs. "Hmm, I wonder who could that be" I said before reaching the door. "Emily!!" I grinned and threw a bone crushing hug. Wait Emily? I frowned and separated from her . "Emily!" I looked at her in shook. She gave a sad smile. "Come in"I pulled her inside before closing the door.
Emily's POV I sat on couch before Linda handed me a glass of water. I nodded before taking the glass and drinking it slowly. After a while I paused and looked at the glass. "You know, I'm ready mad at you" I said in a low tone. "I'm sorry, I really am" she plead with her head low. " You abandoned me at a bar!" I whisper-yelled. " I-I left you under good hands " she looked at me. "Good hand?! So good hands is the school's richest pervert?!" She flinched. "Well he was the only person we knew there and it's better than leaving you alone for drunkards to rape the innocence out of you." " Why didn't you take me home?" I asked. " We came with your car and I don't know how to drive." She said. "Why didn't we go with a taxi" I asked again. " It was around midnight, there wasn't really any taxi or bus around and even if there was, it wouldn't be safe for two girls. Now would it?" She answered. "Then why are you with my car keys?" I questioned. "If I gave it to you, you would have driven and probably even kill yourself." I sighed and paused. " Wait then did you get home I asked confused. She looked at me off guard, blushed and lowered her head. I looked at her even more confused. She smiled while playing with her fingers. "Levi drove me home." I stared at her for a while. "Why didn't he take us BOTH home?!" I yelled emphasising on 'BOTH'. She stared at me and give me a slow awkward smile. " I didn't think of that " she scratched her head. I sighed "So in conclusion, you're the reason for what I went through this morning." I said calmly. " I'm sorry but I might ask what happened to you this morning?" I told her everything that happened from the butt incident to the pervert argument, every. bit. of. information. "Wow... a lot can happen in a few hours, huh? " Linda smiled. "This is not a laughing matter " I stood up and grabbed her by the shoulder. "If I didn't fall asleep that night who knows what would have happened!" She hanked herself off my grip " Oh come on ems , you're over reaching I think he's a pretty modest guy" Modest "Are you hearing yourself that's the guy that known for his flirtatious and cocky behavior." I looked at as if she was buncus. " Since when do you care about rumors" Linda looked at me confused. "I don't but his appearance screams trouble " I deadpanned. Linda rolled her eyes. "So what if it does, you don't judge a book by its cover." "I don't, I judge a book by its cover and pages." I crossed my arms. Linda stood up" Come, let's go and get some fresh air to calm that delulu-ness" Despite Linda calling me a psycho for worrying about my life and I decided to go out and clear my mind. Linda dropped me at my house after I thanked her and she drove out right before I turned around and saw the lights on. Oh she's back I opened the door just to see mom on the couch with the TV on but her on her phone giggling every five seconds. Talk about disgusting, ugh She didn't seem to notice me even when I passed her. I settled my stuff on the kitchen counter separating my stuff from the groceries. After restocking the kitchen, I carried my stuff to my room and change to something more comfortable.

I came downstairs to the kitchen to see mom on her phone eating a plate macaroni and cheese. When she noticed my presence she looked at me surprised "Emily, when did you get here?" She asked. Seriously I was too tried to talk so I just nodded and reached for a bottle of water. "Good night" I said before leaving for bed.
