"Uh" I touched my head. Though it was spinning I managed to check my surroundings.
It was pitch black.
I groaned. "Where am I now?" The sound of an opening door cut me off. I got a glimpse of light as the figure of a bald chubby tall guy entered the room.
"Good morning sunshine." He said flirtatiously.
"There's nothing good about this morning." I said trying not to gagge in my mouth.
"Wait, how is it morning" I asked confused.
"Yeah, time can go so fast when you're unconscious." Even though I couldn't see him, I felt his smirk. I frowned. "I bet you're the one who suffocated me earlier." I glared. He shook his head chuckling before moving towards the door.
"Hey! Heyyyyy!" I wiggled my body.
He closed the door.
"You can at least tell me where I am!" I yelled before sighing.
Jerk.
I heard the door open again as I looked up hoping it was the guy from earlier. It was not instead there was a tall, broad figure.
"Hey babe's."
"Who-" he cut me off.
"Uh it's so dark in here." He said slightly annoyed.
Wait what no
He on the lights and I quickly shut my eyes from the burning magnitude.
I slowly opened them revealing the last person I expected to see.
"Williams?"
"Look who's awake." He smiled.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I decided to check on you. You were asleep for quite a long time and I started to wonder if you were dead, but nevermind that." He grinned.
"Wait what?!"
"How's your head by the way, Roy said you might have inhaled too much." He causal said as if we were catching up on gossip.
"You're kidding."
He shook his head. "No I'm not, that's why we chained you. In case you wake up you won't be able to run away." He said worriedly.
Wait what?!
I looked at my hands as the sound of metal clacking against each other filled the room.
I turned to him eyeballs out of my sockets.
He smiled brightly.
"You're crazy."
"I see myself lightheaded actually." He joked.
"You were so friendly."
"Looks can deceive." He maintained that smile.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Story from another day."
I sighed. "Where am I?"
"In the middle of nowhere, trust me no one's gonna find you." He said cheerfully.
My mouth touched the floor.
"Bye, see you later."
"Wait no I not-"
He shut the door.
"done yet." I muttered before sighing.
Why is my life like this?
. . .
Linda POV
I ran to Jake who was trying to sit up.
"Levi, go call the doctor." He nodded before leaving.
Jake turned to me with a eyebrow coiled up.
"Everyday I look at you, the more you remind me of a controlling wife."
I rolled my eyes. "Not now."
Levi walked with doctor Charles and a nurse.
"Doctor Charles." Jake looked at the doctor who grinned proudly.
"Jake, mi boy how are you feeling."
"A little soar in some places but I'm fine."Jake spoke. I looked at Levi. Already knowing my question he answered." He is their family doctor, he's like a second father to Jake."
I nodded but paused then turned to him. "Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" He shrugged."You never'd ask"
"Your heart beat is normal, temperature is fine, no fever. You'll be fine but I still advise you to rest a little more."
Jake nodded before turning to Levi and I with a serious face. "Now what did you say happened to Emily."
