Emily POV
"I'm so tired" Linda laid her head on the carteria table as I muched on my chicken nuggets.
"We had a surprise quiz today and trust me when I say it was not easy" she faced me.
"You're talking as if I didn't write the test also" I said before placing a nugget in my mouth.
She sighed. " I know but he's really frustrating" she said before taking a nugget of my bowl.
"Hey! that's mine" I dragged it to my side "go eat yours!"
She groaned "I don't wanna eat Mac and cheese anymore."
"Why ? You said you were carving it earlier.
"I also told you I hate cocktails" she looked at me in disbelief.
I shook my head and sighed before eating another one.
Classes finished and rest of the day was all in a blur.

Me and Linda were walking, suddenly Linda held her tummy in pain. "Ah!"
"Are you okay"I held her.
"My tummy hurts" she winced.
"Are you pregnant?" I asked randomly.
She tried to glare at me but only to scream again "You moron, I'm in pain."
"Sorry, sorry, let's head to the dorm , come on."
She put her arm around my shoulder or neck whatever and I managed to walk her to the dorm.
When we reached there, I sat her on the bed and gave her a glass of water.
I stood in front her "Linda, I think you're on your period."
She looked at me in disbelief. "Sure thing Sherlock, try telling me something I don't know."
"Wait here, I'll go buy you some pads and painkillers."
                                   . . . .
Closed
I looked at the pharmacy sign hoping It will magically open.

Nothing
I saw a notice board on the door.

We are having some difficulties, and will be open till further notice pls pardon us and have a wonderful day..

I went to the other pharmacy ahead, the only disadvantage is that it was farther than this one so I had to run.
When finally made it I entered inside.
Note the first one was a pharmacy, it is a drug store.
I greeted by an old woman who gave me a genuine and friendly smile.
"Good evening ma'am, I'm looking for sanitary pads please" I said softly.
I don't know I just have this love towards old people, if I had a grandma and grandpa I would definitely shower them with it.
She pointed at the direction and thanked her before going there.
I looked for the biggest one and got two cuz when I'm on my period, it's a painful rainfall.
I shook my head.
Don't wanna go through that trauma-
"Ow!"  Me and my conscious said. I held my forehead and looked up to see what monsteracuity hit me.
It was a monsteracuity but not what.
Staring at me annoyed was no one else but Jake Johnson.
Of course.
"Why is it always you?" I mumbled to myself.
"Nice meeting you too" he said sarscatically.
I rolled my eyes before passing him.
I've had enough stress today, don't wanna increase my BP.
I got the painkillers and went to the register. Jake who came after dropped a pack of cigarettes.
I twitched my face is disgust.
Of course it was.
I shook my head before reaching down my empty pocket.
Huh
I checked my other pocket, I rechecked the first pocket.
I'm in deep shit now
I checked again, begging God to get me out of this embarrassment.
Ching ching
I looked up and saw the woman packing my stuff along with the pads.
I blushed a little out embarrassment, for the losing my wallet or a man seeing the pad I bought. I don't know.
She looked at us with a small grin before giving it to us in separate bags.
Jake left while I stood there puzzled.  The woman chuckled as I turned to her. "My dear, you have such a sweet boyfriend. You too remind me about my husband and I"
"No ma'am, you got it all wrong " I smiled awkwardly.
She hummed "that's what they all say".
She turned around ran out out side and just in time too, I saw his car and ran to it as he was already in it.
"Why did you buy this for me?" I brought it up for him to see it.
"So you want to be stranded?" He coiled up a eyebrow.
"No, I-"
"Plus, I'll get a favor from you. You own me" with that he drove out of there leaving me in the dust. Literally, I coughing like crazy because of it.
I cleared my throat before heading the direction of the hostel as that particular sentence remained in my mind.

Wait for Linda to get a load of this.
I entered the hostel and later entered my dorm to see a shaking, sobbing Linda on the floor.
She looked up at my direction before glaring at me.
"Where were you?."

I'm back , happy new month it's October now~
I'm so happy and surprise for how this year is going so fast and soon we'll be in a new year. Thank God!
I actually wanna to make Emily go out of the campus but I didn't want Linda to suffer.
Linda :"U what?! Because of you,my pretty gown got stained"
Author:"Did you check the cupboard?"
Linda: "what? Some  were in the cupboard, why didn't I see it?"
A: "Because I didn't write it."
L:"That's unfair"
A: "It wasn't ur POV."
L:" But - ow!!" whines, holds her head.
E: "shut up, do you want her to  send you to a desert next time "
A:" Ok that's enough, bye girls"
L:"What, no I have a- hey!!" Emily drags her.
E:"Bye everyone, thanks for the walk .
