"What the heck just happened?" I yelled at Jake.
"What?" He glanced at me.
"What just happened? Where have you been? Who exactly is this Williams guy? And where you taking me?"
"For a girl who witnessed a lot, you do ask a lot of questions" he frowned.
"Why wouldn't I?" I yelled.
He rolled his eyes.
"You know a lot girls would be happy to find two guys fight over her" he said.
"Well, sorry if I not a lot of girls " I said feeling pissed.
"Touchè" he shrugged.
Silence
"So?!" I felt like a ticking bomb.
"So what?" He asked.
Boom
"What just happened, you shit?!" I exploded.
Jake parked near a restaurant.
I looked at him confused but still angry.
"What are we doing now?!" I yelled.
"Get out " Jake said in a low but audible tone.
"What?" I asked taken back.
You can't be serious.
"Get...out!" I looked at me with no emotion as I stare at him flapper-gassed.
"You can't just kick me out of your car" I snapped.
He cocked a brow.
"Watch me" he unbolted the car door then turned back to me.
"Have you gone insane?!" I yelled.
He looked at the door and at me
" The door is open " he shrugged.
I searched for any reason in his eyes but I found nothing. I took a deep breath.
He gave me a nonchalant, carefree look.
"I hate you" I mumbled before getting out, slamming the door in his face.
I stormed inside the restaurant as he drove away.
Bitch
I sat on a chair and a waitress approached me.
"Good afternoon miss, what you like for me to get you?" She gently smiled.
"Good afternoon, could you please get me a glass of water... for now" I smiled back.
She nodded then left and came with my order.
I thanked her as she dropped it on the table before nodding with a smile and left.
" Emily?" I looked up.
I saw a smiling Linda next to a emotionless Levi.
Man she's looks way smaller next to his big, built physique.
I looked down at their hand.
Why they holding hands?
I gave them a questioning look before drinking some water.
Linda looked at me confused for a moment and then smiled again.
" Oh, that's what I wanted to tell you, me and levi are dating" she brought their hands to shoulder level.
I choked on my water.
"Are you okay?!" Linda rushed to me while Levi sat at the seat Infront of me.
"Here" Linda handed me a nakipin and I cleaned my mouth before thanking her.
I cleared my throat as Linda sat next to Levi looking at me worriedly.
"So you guys have been dating for how long?" I asked slowly staring at the table.
"We became official yesterday" she said.
"How did it happen?" I looked at them slowly.
"Well,that night at the bar-"
"The bar two weeks ago?" I interrupted her.
She pressed her lips before nodding.
She hates to be interrupted.
"Levi drove me home... his home. It was raining so he took me there cuz it was closer.
And later he confessed to me, he actually liked me a really long time ago but he didn't think the feeling mutual and he was telling me now because he decided it's now or never . Then I told him my feelings but asked him for us to take it a bit slow" She smiled dreamly.
"Why didn't you tell me this before " I asked feeling a bit offended.
"I want to but you were so busy and stressed, most days I found you sleeping with your outing clothes without touching a bit of food. So I thought it will be best to tell you when It's official." She said looking sad.
These whole time she was speaking, Levi kept looking at her with so much love and admiration.
At least he's better than his lame excuse for a friend.
"Linda, I'm so sorry you felt that." I held her hand.
"No matter what happens or my physical state, you will always tell me what going on in your life, okay?"
She nodded and left her seat to hugged me.
We talked for hours on what we couldn't catch on over the weeks; school, relationships, social media and of course gossip.
What can you blame me? A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
"It's getting late, we should go" Levi said grabbing Linda in one hand and his coats in the other.
"Aren't you coming?" Linda asked me with her and Levi looking at me.
I shook my head "I'm getting take away, they said it will take a little longer. Don't wanna hold you guys"
"Are you sure?" Linda asked me again.
I nodded.
She looked at Levi who just shrugged.
She sighed before turning to me.
"Okay, but be careful" she said strictly
I rolled my eyes."Okay, mom."
She gave me one last look before leaving the restaurant.
I waved though the window and she waved back before entering the car.
After a while, the waitress came with my food. I paid then thanked her before leaving the restaurant.
I started walking pulling my phone out of my pocket, checking the time.
7:49 pm
I need to walk a bit more faster, this place is giving me the hippies gippies.
